Okay sorry, let me put it in another way.
Crowding on MRT. Crowding on bus. Which is worse?
On a train, you get speeds not much faster than a bus, but you have to stop mandatorily at stops and wait for pax to get on and off. You get a much noisier interior, and worst of all you will almost certainly have no seats and even if you have one it's those hard shell ones.
And what if MRT requires transfer while bus doesn't? (happens most of the time btw)
Bus is not much better either. Cramped interior, potential traffic conditions, and also a chance of not having a seat.
However the seats are comfortable, the interior is more calm, can fly stop if there is no pax Getting on or off, and of course (scenic) view!
This is why I liked express buses way more than trains in most times unless there is direct train connection. IMO express buses encounter the very least jerks and sudden brakes as it travels on expressway and flyovers without traffic lights. Even the trains jerk and fling my body more often than express buses. Just my two cents from experiences in HK, but it should be the same in SG too if more express buses are introduced, where I would prefer express bus to train that require transfer.

Just wait for Yishun Int to shift to a temporary facility & SMRT's DDs to start rev sv.

Yes and then sv 39 can get 3354/3355 as well... I mean DDs.
Do you think the old route of 134 will be introduced again?

Like Changi business park terminal comes instead of Sompah terminal in past. I hope Hougang st 21 terminal also comes in place of Hougang south interchange in the past.

Ha ha.. Like this everyone will want a service for someone.. Need to give a better reason of how the service will help many and not approachable by other services.

There is more build up now so 207 qould be great...
Unless divert all the services to turn left instead of right... like in Bukit Purmei

IMO 207 should be a school svc with 1-2 buses, operating only during school days, at specific timings. Such that there would not be service after 8 or something liddat etc.
Parks service was launched with so much publicity in the past... Now only few are surviving... 401 should also run weekdays PM from say 3pm onwards to 10pm... 410 was never really a parks service...

I really miss the old Express 502 from Sengkang to Boon Lay and also Express 501 from Hougang Central to Shenton Way.
But, sadly Express 501 was withdrawn due to the opening of the North-East line
And Express 502 was cut back to Marina Centre also due to the opening of the North-East Line.
Those were the days when there are buses travel on the CTE tunnel.

Now all these City Direct services have started again... given MRT is so crowded.
