I thought Kumho makes car tyres one?
Anyway I don't see why Tien San shouldn't diversify. After all, Tower Transit's parent Transit Systems operates ferries in north Queensland too.

They also a part of Asiana Airlines if you didnt know..
In future i think bus service will be based on which side is nearer to depot..Or the one on both side mich nearer will major control the svc itself.Example is 147 where ulu pandan depot to Hougang is about 25.5km and Hougang depot to Clementi is 24.5km,So they concluded that Hgdep will control majority.
How's TT recruitment?

SINGAPORE - Tower Transit, Singapore's third local bus operator, has taken over Bulim Bus Depot in Jurong West. The depot is expected to be ready in two months' time.
Recruitment is expected to begin in September, Tower Transit said in a press release on Friday (July 31).
The London-based company won an inaugural government bus contract in May, beating seven other firms including incumbents SMRT and SBS Transit.
According to Tower Transit CEO Adam Leishman, the depot will be extensively out-fitted with conducive areas for rest, meals and recreation for bus captains, and will also be the company's base of operations.
"I expect the offer we will be making to drivers will be very attractive to a variety of individuals and will encourage Singaporeans outside the bus industry to consider a new career as we seek to bring exemplary service to Singapore," said Mr Leishman.
The company will operate 26 bus services from the Jurong East, Bukit Batok and Clementi bus interchanges progressively from the second quarter of 2016.

There will be major redeployment of buses happening for both sbst and smrt services... those managing sgwiki pages gear up for endless hours to ensure the pages are upto date.
Sorry. What I meant was the SMRT buses previously at Bulim bus depot.
Anyway, I think forget it. Whoever managing the lists just add in "(as of ....)" at the title, for the time being. Wait until everything saturated already then update. Because I think the changes in fleet deployment may happen quite often. Unless, they are okay with that.

Mass recruitment on September but a handful of people already sign the paper..Their office is at West Coast.

I think only those BSEP ones.
Tower Transit will use the BSEP bus fleet that was purchased by the incumbent operators, ie Citaro, A22,ADL, WEG IIs.

TT mentioned before that they main focus is now on the 1st package, hence letting go of this...

Had they submitted a bid the Loyang parcel would have been in the bag, as they have long figured out the winning formula. But that's okay with me.

Yah, but becos they are new here and with the current shortage situation as what the 2 ops faced, they wouldn't want to take risk and see how it goes with the 1st package. If their plan goes smooth, 3rd package will have them...

If you take their statement at face value (as with your previous posts), they are not new here either.
This is not characteristic of them, given their previous tendering pattern in UK (when they entered that market) and Australia.
But that's okay with me, I am happier to have someone else take Loyang.

Lol if SMRT takes it, SBST confirm black face...

there is a separating metal barrier that separates both operators, Tower Transit (TT) & SMRT buses
Bulim depot (some parking area) belongs to SMRT buses while the main building, maintainence & the remaining parking lots belongs to TT
I saw the depot from far. thats my observation so far
traffic light is also up at that T-junction, just outside Bulim depot
I don't think both sbst or smrt will made it to the second bid. at the end of the day most likey smrt and sbst focus on will be on train operating. and less on bus operation. with DTL opening sbst should be focus on that. i think lta should give woodlands transport a try.
Let foreign operators win..Afterall i dont see they can survive after 5 years.Govt just want foreign investment but still maintain the two local incumbents.Woodlands Tpt is already king of private bus business.I do hope Tower Transit win Seletar as well and please be Kumho win this Loyang Package as well as Ulu Pandan too.
Keolis and Downer have a joint venture in AUstralia that operates buses in QLD, SA and WA. Their WA operations are responsible for Morley and Kalamunda.
Bus Services Industry Bill has passed in Parliament. Note in particular the step-in provisions designed to deal with operators exiting the industry (e.g. the fictional Merlion Transit scenario):
