And "higher freq" is nothing but an excus to get away with the problems... Coz no matter how many trains you buy if you cant sustain or, worse still, wont sustain thr dense freq the trains are gonna end up sleeping in the depots anyway... This could clearly be seen on the CCL...
I also dk what they were thinking when they were doing white paper... Clearly there isnt a strong coordination between the ministries, LTA included...
I could not imagine the Bishan stn in the coming years... It is as if population is directly propotional to number of trains, with k being the constant... Meaning that the crowds today are not gonna be allevated, if not worse...

There is also a green/white and a red/white livery used in their some of their media too. Could be just a generic mix of colors or they could also possibly be trying out how they want their livery to look like. For now just treat it like how they are using the Enviro 200 in all of their recent media, as what they show might not be indicative of what they might get in the future.
I wonder if after Tower Transit takes over the operations, where will those SBST and SMRT permament buses be deployed..
Some of the buses from SMRT are being SP...
1) Are they gg to Tower Transit or being re-deployed to other services?
2) Is Tower Transit gg to take over by batches the services that they won?

1) there are spare buses because, they have bring in the DDs...(and some BSEP DDs are replacing SMRT SDs instead of BSEP SDs), thus more SD are becoming Spare..
2) they are taking over in 3 batches....

Ooh... It would be interesting to see what registration number they would be using and the livery that they would be using...
So I think the major bulk of the buses that will be affected majority will be from SLBP and KJDEP/BUDEP... I see BBDEP not affected a lot.. only the feeders and Svc 96

SBS Transit is cheaper than SMRT in terms of package.. Hmmm.. And also the news mention that 25 services. Three new services and 22 other services are operated by SBS Transit... So which 3 new services are they?? I suspect is the rumoured 117 and the Punggol - Tampines service... What's left of the other service??

Pasir Ris feeder 357 that will most likely be introduced next year and also the new Tampines service.

Hi mr marvel68, the new tampines service will not count as the bus service must start from either Punggol or pasir ris to be counted as part of Loyang depot package. Cheers. Thanks.

But 2 and 36 do not start from either Punggol or PSR but they are included in the package. Anyway its just my speculation that the new Tampines service may be in the package.
Hope the goverment will introduce Service 501, 511 and 512

2 is Changi Village and 36 is Changi Airport. I think Tampines should be another package, if not svc 19 and 29 should also be under Loyang already...

My speculations: 117, 357 and another feeder in Punggol catering to the new flats in Punggol West (that are not served by PGLRT)

Hi mr marvel68, tampines is out. The services must be from pasir ris bus interchange or Punggol bus interchange or Changi village terminal and Changi airport bus terminal according to the news. That is why sbs 2 and Sbs 36 are included. Majority from punggol or pasir ris. Cheers. Thanks.
My speculations: 117, 164, 357, 501, 505 and 507
Svc 3 will start from Punggol instead of Tampines when the operator won.Changi Village should include svc 29 IMO,Can start from CV and loop at Tampines instead.
i wonder why 5,21, 58 not included. Why 2 is the lone wolf in the package?

Very odd la LTA what else?See Clementi and you know why,Only feeders and svc 96...Might as well dont tender and let 51,52,105 & 506 inside the first package.Clementi can be included into Ulu Pandan Package.5 might be under Bt Merah package who knows?21 might be St Mikes and 58 obviously Bishan.

Hi mr carbikebus, yes you are right. SBS 3 is already included in the 22 bus services out of 25 for Loyang depot in the press release many months ago. In this case, it will reverse and start from Punggol. Cheers. Thanks.
117 might be Punggol group
164 may be Jurong West group
501 and 512 may be Jurong West group

I feel that this article is biased. There is no source to support their claims, besides that brief mention of bid prices. The article seems to promote the Go-Ahead Group.
When does Loyang package take effect? (Actually for that matter when will Bulim take effect?) Referring to when will the new operator begin operations.
