From the looks of it, they are already preparing for the third GCM package. It may involve bus services currently served by SMRT Ang Mo Kio depot.
The new Sungei Seletar Bus Depot will be completed by September 2017, so very likely depot will be handed-over by then and GCM begin by December 2017, cuz by then most likely the participating buses for Sungei Seletar GCM would all be ready already.
The announcement of the third GCM could be coming soon, thanks to the By-Election at Bukit Batok SMC. So, do keep a look out for it yeah. :)

Been anticipated it,Hopefully either TT or GA will win again.Starting Ulu Pandan GCM till 2022 it will be run as a nego contract for the two incumbents. So if SMRT/SBST lose Yishun/Sembawang/Yio Chu Kang and part of AMK,They still can take Ulu Pandan,Mandai,East Coast and probably another GCM till 2022.Kim Chuan only ready by 2025.
PS:I am not suprised if 103 & 117 would be included into the next GCM.The svc 3,66,136,143 is one of the examples.
It's official.
The GCM Bulim Package will be implemented on three Sundays - 29 May, 12 June and 26 June.
First batch - from 29 May - 77, 106, 173, 177, 189, 941, 945, 947, 990.
Second batch - from 12 June - 66, 78, 79, 97, 97e, 143/143M.
Third batch - from 26 June - 41, 49, 96, 98/98M, 183, 282, 284, 285, 333, 334, 335.

All, now we know M services follow their parent service. This should send a clear signal to all naysayers. Cheers. Thanks.

So, GAG takeover should be 25 August, 11 September, and 25 September. If first tranche is 4th September, then it can't finish in time for Q3.
There should be some Batch 5 Wrights. There are still 418 more regoes to fill after the B4 delivery is completed.
740 - (415 - 93) = 418
My prediction SMRT will lose majority of Yishun service when the Seletar package winner is announce, but they will get the Ulu Pandan package and Amdep temporarily will take over Sembawang service.
Unlike Q2 and Q4, there is no four-weeks school holiday in Q3. So, the possible implementation dates of the GCM Loyang package is quite limited.
My guess is that the package will be implemented on 7 August, 4 September and 11 September.
This is because National Day is on 9 August (Tuesday), Hari Raya Haji is on 12 September (Monday), and the September School Holidays is from 3 September to 11 September.
8 August (Monday) is half-day, 12 September (Monday) is public holiday and 5 September (Moday) is a school holiday, where the demand may be lower than usual. The Sundays before that might be the most appropriate days to implement the package.
Yesterday, they announced the future North-South Expressway.
Today, they announced the upcoming GCM Bulim Package.
Next Tuesday, they may announce... ^^

They should have just merged 53M with some other service around the area like 113/115/119...

Amdep will take back 53M once the GCM is announced
WLDEP/WPDEP seems to take only MAN buses, even the A95s. However, they have no choice for the E500s due to the really small size of A95 fleet, but if given a choice, they would probably take all A95s for DD usage.
I think they would have to take Citaros soon.
Bus route 79 is interesting. By right, it does not terminate at Boon Lay Bus Interchange. But apparently, under SBS Transit, it does terminate at Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
According to the news release, Tower Transit does not have bus routes that terminate at Boon Lay Bus Interchange. There's a possibility that bus 79 will only use the end-on berths as a bus stop....
With the practice of buses at the end-on section using any berth to disembark passengers, and then drive to the correct berth to park, it's interesting to see how things would turn out.
I guess bus route 79 will be amended to use the sawtooth section.
In the same way, BBDEP is using B9TL Wrights to replace B9TL CDGEs. I don't see a single B9TL CDGE on 147 on Sundays.

Suggestions for SSDEP:

79 already loops at Boon Lay, there is no scheduled rest there, this has been a long standing practice.

Its because A95 only in production after the ADL purchase..
