It kinda makes it harder for bus fans to complain about capacity downgrades ;) which works out to be an unintended advantage to the operator.
And now, with one less thing to be obessed over (perms, cameos etc), bus fans can now turn some of their time and attention to somethings else :P
Thus, less bus photographer on the roads...which means "better security" as wished...nice one~
What are the odds WTS might get lucky on its third time and take control of Seletar contract?
I do not like the way TTS uses their own kind of bus service information at their interchanges. As SMRT and SBST are using a standardised information board showing the list of bus services,TTS should just keep to using it.But however, the town maps they can use their own one but not the bus service information
Agreed. I was at JE interchange and found bus services info are in TT colours including SBS buses 51 or 197. SBS and SMRT has always identified their buses numbers individually eventhough they share same interchange or be the majority bus interchange - e.g.CCK or Clementi. So what is next, change the bus numbers at every bus stop to TTS colours?
Honestly, the TTS townmaps are a downgrade from SBST and SMRT's town maps. Without the bus service route diagrams, they suck.
The bus services information board is'nt it managed by Transitlink?Tower Transit can anyhow change one meh.I mean like we are used to seeing all the bus servives or routes just in one simple box(red for SBS grey for SMRT) rather than Tower Transit one which takes alot of space.
If you are wondering what is the bus serviceinformation board,it is the the one in the link but at TTS interchanges

They will not do a revamp yet for bus service box (Red or White) to (Green).

Mate, if we are eventually going to do things Transperth-style, the operator's colours no longer matter.
From my observations, SG5054A seems to be 'perm' 43. It is doing 43/43M training bus quite often and every time I see it, nothing else...
I even see DDs training 82 route! Is this a sign that 82 will get DDs under GAG?

I only see SMRT livery A95s. The 'transparent' bus in the picture is a B9TL.
And, the SMRT A95s in the background have doors on the right.

Training bus also got perm which svc eh?So if i use SG5054 for one week doing route 83 meaning svc 83 also get DDs?SG5054 also do other svc la dey.Today SG5057 doing svc 43 in the morning and doing svc 118 in the afternoon for 2 days liao meaning perm training doing that svc also?

What he says is completely false. The colours on the bus service information panel at Jurong East are purple for those still under SBS Transit after the complete handover.

Does TT even run on perm buses?
SBS3432T might be for GAG, handed over directly without transfer to HG/BN. The new GA BCs may not be familiar wwith Voith Wright.
Unlike TT where BRBP 143 buses were handed over before the take over, for familiarisation for BCs.

3432 to BU because SBST logo removed
it's on 98 today
My prediction on Ulu Pandan package:
Joo Koon: 182, 253, 254, 257, 258.
Boon Lay: 179, 181, 192, 193, 194, 198, 199, 240, 241, 242, 243, 246, 249, 256.
Jurong East: 51, 52, 105, 197, 506.
Bukit Merah: 272, 273.
Number of routes = 26
Number of buses = approximately 431.
If this is the composition, there is a good mixture of profitable and loss-making routes. It is likely that the operator would operate, maintain and manage Joo Koon and Boon Lay Bus Interchanges.
Comfort Delgro (SBS Transit) may transfer its operations at Bukit Batok Bus Depot over to Soon Lee Bus Depot since the latter is newer and Comfort Delgro taxis are using the facility.
