Even before ADDs came, 190 already had DDs.
To even mention that 190 will soon have DDs is really a joke.
Albeit one that BPJ residents probably didn't appreciate. 190 lost its DDs when SMRT took over.

Sure.. U should definitely find every reason to celebrate and be happy. In our society, we have out sarcasm and cribbing over enjoying and appreciating.
Smrt should make the most of this historic event, celebrating with its teams and the community it serves.

But there is really nothing to celebrate about being late by 2 decades if we look from this perspective.
and the very first batch of SBST ADD have already been send to scrap yard.. it took SMRT 12 years to purchase their first ADD....

106,188,190, 960, 963, 966 and etc. but Y NO 67??? 67 is horrible interms of load and sometimes timing, can come 3 SDs or 1 SD & 1 Bendy tgt but both buses all full at little india during peak, weekends and PHs.

Aiyo,Only 201 units leh unless LTA decided to buy another 100 who knows?SMRT also playing waiting game mah..those 9 service mentioned already eat up half of the 201 units..they also need 4-6 units spare DDs..

So far only Yishun,Sembawang and Lor 1 never receive DD svc for SMRT.. Progressively i think after Yishun shifted to new temp Int 851,854 & 857 candidates to have DDs but of course from Wldep unless theres new Amdep..Sembawang might get for 167 & 980..Lor 1 probably 985.

You should know that it is because of Yishun interchange infrastructure that 851/854/857 are still not announced. -

985 is majorly neglected by SMRT. It actually deserves 4-6 bendies/DDs but get none. Always bus is packed to door and go long distance.167/980 also need 2-3 DDs but since their route is heavily duplicated, one helps the other and it is surviving. But with so much development along Sembawang Rd and Upper Thomson, there will be a need for high capacity buses until TSL is functioning.

Surprised to see 169 not making the list. This service needs DDs or hopefully, they will at least shift bendy resources to this service.

169 under SBST had DDs.
169 with more bendies, probably from 188(depot transfer), 960, 963.

The # of high capacity buses on 851 has steadily gone down. It plies the Cbd region and should def get DDs soon by transferring some slots to wldep.

you really think the list of buses is firmed up
it's not exhaustive and subjected to change
but as expected, they prioritize routes via Orchard and CBD
In any case, coming Sunday when DD is launched on 972, you will notice passengers at bukit panjang road bus stop beside Blk 270 boycotting 190 and A22 on 972, many empty 190 bendy buses
MAN A22 on 972 arriving but passengers refuse to board

The VO3X vs MB0405G battles on 25 & 854 were epic. They should stay that way. If SKG didn't return to SBS, then-TIBS would have put 99% Habits on 864 to slug it out with the Batch 3 VOs on 84 for sure. -

then some of these OCs should go to 800 for fleet replacement.
i suppose there are 3 citaros on 851 right now
