Great. Out with the A22s, hello E50Ds. But 169 has a very high turnover rate, still good?

I guess this is a trial before they deploy any perm DDs on Sv 169. The timings that I read of on this x-over slot doesn't solve much of the load crunch issues during AM Peak where it's needed most.

169 will get 3 perm DDs in Oct round.

Yeah should be a trial...
If you sit on the upper deck first row & column, you'll get a series of tree leaves "smacking" your face along upper thomson road..
It cross to 963 after that.

How you know its 3?
I also heard rumours the MAN DD will either perm on 187 or 963

Have seen with SBST, they always give demonstrators to different services.. haven't see two on the same service.. hence 963 seems to be the most likely candidate.

SMB5006L
SMB5007J
SMB5008G
SMB5009D
SMB5010Z
SMB5011X
Yay! Finally SMRT registered that many of non-BSEP Enviro500s at one go!
Saw 1 ADL exited Woodlands Bus Park, heading towards WLDEP..
SMB3550U spotted heading towards KJDEP.
Updates on SMB3525T :
Bus ended 169 shift around 4:56pm, and start 963 shift around 5:16pm.

Now we can expect 190 to start getting more high capacity ADLs.
My guess for BSEP Oct round:
972 - 5
169 - 3
969 - 1
960 - 3
850E - 1
Total deployment: 13 buses
Other than Mexico, Korea will also be testing out the low-height (4.15m) ADL E500MMC North-American version demo this year...

If more Asian countries starts using deckers i forsee MB or VDL will make 12m DDs
5003U maybe can replace the outgoing TIB863J.
And kick all the O405s on 190 and replace them with the new ADLs.

SMRT's 'savings' of high-capacity buses are drying up. There are no more spare O405Gs and SMRT had registered the ADLs perhaps to replace the next batch of outgoing O405Gs.
A24 (if they choose to bring in) ADLs and the MAN DDs are going to replace the Habit, Smiley bendies and Volgren bendies in the future
Those first 40 A24s is to replace the dereg box bendies in e first place,Gradually they will order more

But when is the first batch of A24s coming?
When half of the SMRT ADL registered and 40 box bendies dereg plus a dozen of O405s start saying bye2..Now they bring also no use,Bulim havent completed,Kranji only have just enough space for the DDs,Wldep need to kick out some buses and dont even mentioned about Amdep
SMB3550U (with new SMRT livery but no SMRT logo) spotted driven along Admiralty Road West (169's stretch) with trade plate...A paper stating its chassis number and its rego is pasted on the windscreen.
