SMB3547E >> WPDEP 856
I wonder why most WL DD svc park at the bus park instead of the depot itself?New buses all exposed to rain, hot wheather..
SMB3547E, SMB3561M and SMB3589J on 856 today.
Next year SMRT should focus more of their DD/DD worthy svc like 61,67,169,176,187,190,700,856,857,960,963,964,965,966,969,972 & 983
Svc like 167,172,180,184,851,854,855 can have 3 for a start

Yes
I think SMB3591B can be considered to be permanent on 857 since i often see this rego bus on 857 since last Monday.
If ADL approved a unit from KMB to trial in SG before SMRT buys the E500... Or maybe headrest coach-version E500 for Express services?

This is expected when there are fewer BSEP MANs...but 98 is not the accurate figure as mentioned by someone previously.
Unexpected that 961 will get DDs..

Had a hunch ytd when i saw 1343P on 969, thinking is it going to have DD 961 on Monday? lol... and really indeed...

This depends on how the bus service exited the terminal...think someone mentioned this before.

there is only ONE Entrance to the terminal.... so what have the entrance got to do with DD? there is no trees obstructing the DDs, unlike some ppl who keep claim that there are low trees/branches, thus DD cannot be deploy for Geylang Ter 1 service..
just go down and have a look and you will know..

Source?
SMB3581E - 961
Saw some trees that already had its those shoulder-size branches trimmed off at the terminal...
SMB3581E - 961 today.
There will be 2 DD perms. However, 1 will run full day and the other is a standby, which only comes out if needed, like if there's sudden surge of loadings due to long freqency in between.
These 2 DDs are added BSEP slots. SMB3104A, being at least 4 to 5 buses infront of the full day DD, while SMB3094U is behind the full day DD by 2 to 3 buses. The standby DD slot will only be observed when it is needed to be deloyed. Otherwise, only 3 BSEP slots will be running.
