Express 518 now has 3 DDs on Weekdays though. Need some time to observe again if the 3rd DD is a fleet add or fleet replacement. Because I still see all the Citaros and KUBs in the past 2 weeks at least..
But 6232J's NEA Dengue ad is expiring, so is 6117J's Prudential ad. So we shall see. Might be a case of Sv 85 happening again (ie, they add the bus first, then decide what to take out some time later)

I did saw 3 B9TL Wright during peak hour today..
857 upgrade to downgrade.
Simply meaning they upgrade the AMDEP slots to DD and downgrading the WLDEP slot to SD.
225D to 228X is coming back to perm svc. all except 226B on 857 today. Whereas the 507x are 857. Also saw the WLDEP BSEP DD side jz nw

Ty for the update! Yeah, there has been 3 DDs on Sv 518 recently, but the frequency doesn't look like they had a fleet add recently.. So still trying to find out which SD is the one that's supposedly out of 518 alr

3 or 4 upgrade SD to DD for AM side.

Yeah that they could have 13 or 14 DDs for 857 wich is appropriate for it

Just now I took SMB5073S AMDEP on 857. Not sure if it is for a while only. As stated on Sgwiki buses, SMB5073S is perm on 854. So 854 really have 4DDs altogether? And 857 got downgrade to 8 DDs also?
Alot of people spotted 3 consecutive DDs on 854 not 4. 2 BSEP+ 5076J almost everyday this week

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that there would be no bus int in the Jewel. Buses would continue using the PTBs. In other words, dont expect any DDs for the years to come.
Makes one realize, it's no longer about how "some government policies can have lasting consequences", but more about the sincerity as well as the balls to implement change and clean up the mess they have caused. It is apparent that both the CAAS and LTA has neither of them.

so when they built T1 in the 1970s, they should have think of the DDs?
maybe they should have torn down T1/T2/T3 instead...not sure what mess they have caused?

those LAs are only intro'd in the late 1970s. this meant that they could have thought of them, maybe not for airport bound.

Mess or not, the aftereffects are there for everyone to see...
So seeing this, shouldnt they have at least did something to alleviate this situation? Or just turn a blind eye towards this issue? The Jewel was the golden opportunity for them to make improvements. Why didnt they seize it? They KNEW there was this problem by then.
And really, deploying more and more buses is just not gonna be sustainable in the long run... This is not the CCL or DTL, there are jams, there is need for drivers...
And why not YOU tell us your idea then? No need for use of sarcasm to shut down ideas of others... Its a forum anyway

DDs were only employed in the late 1980s?
to make routes like 858 bendy friendly, CGA PTB 1, 2 & 3's basement layout could be modified slightly to allow bendies to pass through with bigger turning allowance.
