811's crowd only from Ave 7/9 to North Pt MRT & I have nv seen 812's crowd before coz the bus that comes always takes the crowd at Khatib MRT or even at Chong Pang City.
Therefore, it will be a waste of resources to put such HC buses on the Yishun Intratown service.
As such, maybe with the DDs on the Woodlands intratown, they can withdraw the PPPS from Svc 903 and 912.
812 can have DDs deployed. may eliminate 812P. but why no 806P?

Currently 806 is doing quite well with current frequency and good frequency of 03 mins... No need for P variant yet... 806 will do well with DDs..

Yes, I agree. Feeder Svcs like 804 & 806 are doing well. Even 800 is good. The problem lies with 811... I still can see 812 managable. But 811. Sometimes long wait, sometimes bunching too much, sometimes not able to board (Except after Northpoint Shopping Ctr Bus Stop where passengers alight to transfer to other buses or the MRT)
Heard from a friend that he saw a DD on 851 just now. Double decker debut on 851 already? I'm not sure if it is true.
Oops he just say to me that its wrongly press EDS 😅 So 851 no dds yet.
But a few of 851 BCs already learn DDs and anytime soon 851 will get.

811 as someone confirm got 19 duties which is far more than any SMRT Intratowns or even SBST Townlinks can get also longer waiting times ah?Last year only 14-15 fleets also long waiting times now with extra buses also longer ah?

Yup. Mostly I take Svc 860 if it comes first or even while waiting, I will see two Svc 811 from the opposite side of my bus stop heading to St 81... Got 811P but then also how many can fit in a bus plus...

Is the loading on 860 manageable now after 16 buses?

During peak hours still high loading. One bendy crossover is still not enough. But what I know my friend who knows a guy which is an ex AMDEP starter said to me that 860 is confirmed to get DDs sooner or later.

I think we all know that 860 will get DDs sooner or later.. but how soon or late... that's the question right now... 16 buses for such a small route is just too much.. DDs will help clear the load..
860 extend serve Ang Mo Kio St 62 better...
Svc 39 so far havent see full loadings on the DDs but single deckers sure is packed.85 no comment..Hahaha

The load IMO, the sequence goes like this:
Observation from my bus stop (Blk 858) (Depending on timing):
Svc 860 (Full Load) -- Svc 860 (Half Full) -- Svc 860A (Empty)
Sometimes the load is as following: (No 860A subsequently came)
Svc 860 (Full Load) -- Svc 860 (Half Load)
Even at times: (Waiting a while before bunching come for Svc 860/860A & 811/811E/811P)
Svc 860 (Full Load)

I think once you have DDs won't need so many buses... now what is happening is 1st bus gets 70 pax, 2nd bus gets 50 pax, 3rd bus gets 25 pax... 2 DDs can do the job of 3 buses... with each carrying around 70-75 pax... so I think sv 860 in future can operate with 6 DDs, 6 SDs enough!

860 in future will extend to Springleaf MRT via Yishun Ave 3 to connect Ring road residents to TEL.

Is this confirmed or is it just a suggestion?

Hmm, then what about the return leg? Springfield MRT is at Upp Thomson Rd nearer to the shophouses such as Hans and "Nasi Lemak Kukus".
Unless, return leg uses SLE, Lentor Ave, Yishun Ave 2 and Yishun Ring Rd... So skipping the swimming pool and Blk 608 bus stops.

Once Springleaf MRT is built, there will be a bus bay from where the bus can enter and exit back on Upper Thomson (this is what I see in the plans).
