3953G also but SLBP side.
I think there's a few more from SLBP side but i see these 3 more often, while the other DDs that appear are randomly plucked from BN/SL.

SMRT eventually realises their mistake on downgrading the DD slot to SD... and has made 5073 perm for 857... so again to operating with 9 DDs... so much hassle to deploy HC buses on SMRT side.. sometime upgrade, then slyly downgrade, then if does not work, upgrade again. ![]()
Is it true that 966 has been cut back to 24 duties from 27 duties?

Hopefully the A95 PBs come earlier.966 i think had some change to the runtime and fleets,Well 24 buses arent that bad either.

I agree.. recently the DDs were also bunching like crazy... 24 buses is good fleet size with 13 DDs
For those who it might be of interest:
Facts on SMRT Trunk deployment
SD => 67.98%
BD => 15.91%
DD => 16.12%
DDs have exceeded in numbers than bendies for trunk services already!!
Total HC SMRT fleet on trunks => 32.02%
They should focus more on deploying DDs for svc like 67,169,172,176,187,188
190,851,854,856,857,960,963,965,966,969 & 985.As for feeder svc im not so concerned much cause the freq can be adjust higher and can deploy more crossover HC buses during peak periods.

Thereafter could give some of these replaced SDs to 980 ... too pathetic for a long service to have only 14 buses.
172 only running with 2 DDs and 1 bendy during PM peak just now
- 1036Z on 172S102
- 5065R on 172S106
- 5066M on 172S107
The best part is, these 3 split shift slots end shift the earliest, with S102 and S107 going off service even before 7pm and S106 going off service around 715pm... The other split shift buses that will run beyond 7pm or even 8pm were all rigids...

980 is treated like a back up service to 167.

Err, did you post this under the wrong thread?

Quite common to see 3 to 4 Sv 966 buses nowadays though during Off-peak, with the DDs running at like with a few pax

61 has been without any bendies when it went WAB
Originally posted by SMB145B:61 has been without any bendies when it went WAB
61 has only one bendy now.
61 begins from scratch.
Correct thread though haha...
both are back to back iirc...or with just 1 SD inbetween..

61 has had one bendy for a very long time.. both the DDs have been SD --> DD conversion.
856 finally gets 1 more DD with BSEP DD add (3548)
964 gets another fleet add but from SMRT side with 8025T...
Looks like all the bendies/DDs are not enough on this industrial service for sure!
Did sv 12 get another DD fleet add?

Beside the balance E500s,They still need about 120 A95s and another 30-40 units of A24 after the 40 units order.They can just cancel the A22 orders..
Good news. Saw 1 DD on service 3 today. Double decker debut on service 3 today I guess?
Btw SMB5889E goes to KJDEP. And I realise that there are patterns when transferring to depots. For OC500LE, the demonstrator bus goes to KJDEP and the first production batch bus also go to KJ and the second unit goes to AMDEP. Citaro demo go to AMDEP 855 and the first production batch go to AMDEP also and the second unit go to KJDEP. For MAN A24 demo go KJ and the first prod unit go to KJ too and the second go to AMDEP. I guess it will be the same for MAN A95? The second unit of MAN A95 will go to AMDEP I guess.
3801 And 3807 spotted on 3

Hi mr SMB3095S, if it is true, then it is good. Sbs 3 deserved double decker long time ago. So the narrow roads around pasir ris st 21 can be worked around. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr TIB1112L, this is 1 thing I have long advocated for. Sbs 3 deserved double decker much more than Sbs 85 needed. Cheers. Thanks.
