sv 87 got a BSEP Citaro --> WEG upgrade... don't think it is a fleet add, but just capacity increase (makes sense because frequency is good enough... just need the DD to tank in 70-80 pax which Citaro does not do)
sv 70 also got SD --> DD conversion, now operating with 16 DDs, 10 SDs.

168 fleet is too excessive with 29 DDs... have a bus every 04-05 mins during peak hours.
Not sure whether sv 89 had fleet or SD --> DD conversion.
Does anyone know what are the upgrades to sv 169 and 189? 169 might have got bendy --> DD conversion? Is that counted as upgrade as well?
189 still operating with 5 bendies... got fleet add?
i observe u no mention 969 upgrade bsep man to 3602d.

Agreed,Now peak hours always bunching 3 DDs together.26 is ideal fleets.

So cut 1 A22 replace by DD?

I haven't observed much on 168, but even with such frequency, loading is still very good so I think it's justified...

I agree with you on this. Loading on 168 during Peak Hours is still quite consistent even after the Seletar flyovers have opened and after the extension of 103 to Yishun.
And I suppose the bulk of people from the East would usually take 168 to get to Woodlands rather than 969 anyway because it skips Yishun totally (unlike 969 which gets stuck in Yishun during Peak..)
As long as that fleet add is S-Shift or E-shift instead of a full-day, i think it's justified too.

Someone edited 3921Z as going into HG 89 on Wiki. Which I don't deny that's a high possibility, because that's the most consistent HG SP cameo recently on Sv 89 from what I see.
And given that they aren't going to touch the 89e Mk4s (2751D & 2768G), that means unless people start seeing 2762Y running again, otherwise 3921Z is a fleet add to Sv 89 uh~
Because I remember there were people mentioning that 3921Z swapped out 2762Y last month, but then, 2762Y went back to Sv 89 after running elsewhere for a few days & 3921Z was still on 89..

Wiki is a mess though. The guy who edited 6306E out of BN 87 on the 'Deployments by Services' page, somehow left the BSEP Citaro page untouched. So on the BSEP Citaro page, 6306E is still shown as BN 87..
Is 6306E running around?
70's change was 7415S in, 8868L out (not for you, but for others in general)

I do think Sv 169's is for a Bendy-to-Enviro conversion though. Bendy theoretical max capacity is 149 ppl, Enviro max capacity is 134 ppl..
So means they either swapped a rigid for a DD, or they added one rigid/DD. I'm thinking more likely they added a DD though..

Loadings are good, but have you seen the bunching... There are multiple instances everyday AM/PM peak, when 2-3 168 DDs come together... and the buses at the back have a paltry loading. Of course when you deploy 29 buses on an express sector route... you got to get that kind of bunching.
I would also add that while loadings on 168 are great, you will not see instances, where people will be left behind... At WRI, you will see long queues, but when the bus had 55-60 pax on bus, people stop in the queue and do not board even if there is ample place to sit... as they know another 168 will be right behind, and surely in next 5 mins... you have another 168 that comes.

SMRT x LTA can try launching 858A with a fleet of 2 - 3 Enviro500s (if it is effective) deployed under split shifts and loop at Blk 923 during peak hours. It can also help out 169 loading at the same time too..
My apologies for going off-topic :)
172 gotten a BSEP fleet add (Finally)
