I saw one of them.. What buses are perm on Svc 171?

in the morning you can see that the A22s are packed to the brim from yishun towards BPJ.
Finally SMRT does what is required for sv 856.
sv 856 kicks out 4 A22s to accommodate for HC buses.
Fleet of 16 bendies, 8 DDs, 2 SDs... The day I took 856 it had 9 DDs.

If you scared miss the bus, then use Google maps directions service to plan your journey. It's quite reliable. It tells you what time to go out and what time you would arrive.
I saw your profile. The first post is about graphic calculator, which shows that you are probably a JC student. My advise is that you should focus on your studies.
While you have just started, I advise that you stop here. Studies is more important. It does not matter whether you are promoted to year two next year or tio retained in year one or next year going poly. Poly also must study damn hard. In fact, I think you better stay on in JC, cuz I heard that NTU/NUS are going to take in more JC students and less Poly students. It's going to be more easy for JC students and more difficult for poly students to get into the local universities.
Go read literature, watch movie, whatever. Just don't waste time here.
I'm sorry for being rude. Not that I want to chase you away, but I feel that it's better that you do not waste time here.

There's nothing wrong in having a hobby and spending time on it, as long as one can balance his/her hobbies and studies. In fact, some people see this as a form of relaxation from busy studies.
And the reason why some people are counting the regos is because they find it interesting and NOT a waste of time. Just like how you have time to write long paragraphs and give so much thoughts on bus services in Jurong West - I assume you're interested in them.
972

972 get 29 dd from mon 23/nov.
By the way 857 now got 10 DDs altogether already. So service 857 now have 50% DD fleet.
Not sure if it's somewhat related...
1 A22 will park at WRI Berth9/10 whenever SMRT time recorder is on the action. Today, it's SMB1584K. Most likely for sv911 as it was seen on 911 at around 2+, then OS, then 911E around 5:30+, OS again after finishing the West loop only.
Likely last for the whole day? BC just OS and layover at Berth9, waiting for instructions etc.

There are only 25 double deckers deployed for 972 as per stated by LTA! Where did you get the source of information!
Previously on the wiki buses you people anyhow states 972 has 27 buses!

It's your choice to believe my information. No one is forcing you..

We shall wait and see whether your information is true or not..
No one seems to be speaking about sv 49.
4 DDs were added as part of the route extension, no SD. Surprised, because I don't think the route would have DD worthy loading anyway for the full stretch. 50-50 would have been sufficient.

Don't want lah. By the time DTL2 opens already game over.

Game over~ Woohoo~
By the way, there is a possibility that the NG363Fs will be deployed to 858 tomorrow, 29112015 Sunday..

Just an observation for today..
SMB5023L was fully packed (yes, all seats are occupied) along the Admiralty Road West. TIB1168B (6 mins behind) cleared the stranded commuters. The next bus was 15+ mins away according to the TransitLink app..
Seems like there's more improvement to be made for 856's weekend deployments..
According to some user,
187 will be getting a fleet add, 2 A/P and 2 S1 under the Weekday schedule.
858 get bendy. can lta transfer some bendy for other cga service like 27, 34, 36?

Service 858 receiving articulated buses alone will probably already see more congestion in the narrow PTB basements. SBST services better not chip in for more of these buses.
Hopefully an integrated bus interchange for Changi Airport is really in the making for these services.

not nice looking for a world number one airport to have a bus interchange on main road level. LTA perfer to hide away the bus terminal at Basement

What? A world class airport should have a bus interchange on the road, and NOT in the basement. For God sake, anyone who comes to Changi airport and wants to take bus, will have a horrible impression of taking bus from a basement.
I think the concern that LTA has is not about building an interchange on the road level. Can do it easily. They are not sure how to connect all 3 terminals and in future 4 terminals. Any consolidation in one terminal is going to cause some inconvenience to commuters, while benefit to a majority. But that inconvenience to a few is what LTA is afraid of.
