858 gets 4 perm bendies, and 1 crossover bendy from sv 971E... all 5 A24s.
I think max 858 will get is 7-8 bendies as they cannot afford the bendies to bunch at CGA... so mostly the order will be
S --> S --> B --> S --> S --> B --> S --> S --> B.... .....

The NG363F will be only deployed to 3 duties - 858AP14, 858AP15, 858AP16.
858AM14 - SMB8030X / 858PM14 - SMB8025L
858AM15 - SMB8031T / 858PM15 - SMB8039Y
858AM16 - SMB8037C / 858PM16 - SMB8030X
There are only 5 permament NG363Fs, mainly:
SMB8025L - 858PM14
SMB8030X - 858AM14 / 858PM16
SMB8031T - 858AM15
SMB8037C - 858AM16
SMB8039Y - 858PM15
971E/858* crossover doesn't exist at all. After SMB8025L done 1 trip on 971E under 971EAM01, it'll be deployed to 858 under 858PM14.

tamp int so crowd. need to reduce 2 bus each for 291 and 293. so much bus crowding.

Either 187S1 uses bendy today..
Most 963 buses seen around 12pm+ are DD
Lower deck mostly seated ; upper deck rather empty(10 seats occupied), which is about the seat capacity of the A22..
Way better than before...

I'm fine with the fleet for Svc 169...
I agree that Svc 859 need a fleet redeployment...
Svc 860 needs to be monitored further.. SMRT staff is currently monitoring it during Morning Peak Hours at Blk 858 bus stop.. Maybe also the bus stop at Northbrooks Sec also..
PM peak, I believe the LTA staffs are on the ground at the two bus stops (Blk 846 & Blk 624) to monitor the situation...
Svc 852 & 855 is a definitely must to have fleet addition.. Svc 852 cannot make it sia.. Either the bus drives fast or the bus comes late and the arrival timing is late...
Svc 950 needs to take back the JB-registered buses deployed on Svc 925...
IMO, there isn't a need to pamper Svc 190 too much with the High Capacity buses. The current fleet I believe is able to maybe just a fleet addition of 1 or two coz there is a duplicated service (Svc 972).. This is just my opinion... I maybe wrong to state this statement...

190 can operate with fleet of 38 DDs and 972 with fleet of 25 DDs once DTL2 opens. Cut 3 buses on 190, but upgrade all bus to DD... 972 cut 4 DDs.. No need for any SD or bendy on these two services. sv 700 can become full fleet SD with DTL2 opening.

Svc 190 fleet from BUDEP can deploy DDs...
Current fleet: 41 Buses (KJDEP/BUDEP)
Projected fleet: 39 Buses (KJDEP/BUDEP)
TIB 1211 J and SMB 1649 H to be deployed to other services...
Reduce 1 bus here
Svc 972 just add one more DD can already.
Current fleet: 29 Buses (KJDEP)
Projected fleet: 30 Buses (KJDEP)
Add 1 bus here
Furthermore the bus run parallel from Stamford Road (YMCA) to Bukit Panjang Rd (Blk 223) and meet again at Blk 183 bus stop, is like they compliment each other but commuters choice to board which bus.
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:What? A world class airport should have a bus interchange on the road, and NOT in the basement. For God sake, anyone who comes to Changi airport and wants to take bus, will have a horrible impression of taking bus from a basement.
I think the concern that LTA has is not about building an interchange on the road level. Can do it easily. They are not sure how to connect all 3 terminals and in future 4 terminals. Any consolidation in one terminal is going to cause some inconvenience to commuters, while benefit to a majority. But that inconvenience to a few is what LTA is afraid of.
Given T5's close proximity to T4, I feel it would be good to have one separate int serving T4 and 5. In other words, one terminal for T1-3, and another for T4/5. This not only provides convenience for all pax, but also justifies a second int as T5 will be as big as T1-3 COMBINED. So there will not be worries about a dedicated terminal for T4 to be underutilised.
Once again I deeply regret the lack of foresight and ground work on CAAS's part, for not including a centralised bus int in the Jewel, DESPITE the problem of crowding and delays already being so rampant during the planning of the Jewel. It was the perfect location for a centralised bus station for T1-3. At least, I hope for the bus terminal to be near the Jewel in the future.
To those calling an at-grade int ugly pls go get your brain examined or something. I do NOT think having commuters shoved in a dark, stuffy and stinking basement makes the city "world-class". In fact, why not look at what other "world-class" cities do! HONG KONG has an open-air at-grade int (which accomodates DD ofc), even for the E-series routes which mainly caters to the ground staff. PARIS has an at-grade int right outside the airport. Let's see, even PENANG wouldnt force bus pax into the basement! Now look at us! Who's not doing it right now, may I ask?

so technically, only 3 bendies will be around running each time.?

Frequency on 169 during peak is about 15-20 mins, worse still with all the rigids.
Originally posted by SMB145B:Frequency on 169 during peak is about 15-20 mins, worse still with all the rigids.
Thats why need to get rid at least 4 SDs to DDs..I dont think 15-20 is daily occurence, must be the front two buses early..169 can only use majority SDs during Sundays and PHs.

3 bendy during off peak and until 5 during peak..Sometimes its 4 during off peak.

4 rigids to 4 DDs or at least bendies. I did check on TransitLink or SMRTConnect.

190 can survive with 36 DDs and 3 SDs while 972 fleet is 27 DDs which is more than adequate.

SMRTConnect did inform another 30mins when the next bus is only 4 mins.

... chut pattern or app screw-up?
854 has a number of rigids, but should replace them with DDs.
969 is littered with A22s, very little DDs.
bendies should appear on svcs like 812, 851, 902, 904, 962
804, 806 should have gotten their share of A95s. 804 has been spammed with A22s and A24s and O405Gs comes very infrequently.

No bro.
169 departure from AMK Int and WDL Int from 16.45-18.00 is every 06 to 08 mins, then frequency reduces. This is done on both sides to time the industrial belts along Sembawang Road and Seneko/Woodlands Industrial.
Both sides have almost equal number of HC/rigids deployed.
Too many buses actually, need to reduce few and convert to more HC buses. Lot of bunching these days... too many buses come together... and then you see a gap of 15-20 mins... but that is because the way buses leave AMK/WDL back to back.

904 no need bendies for now. A22 still can handle the load. maybe after the HDB along the route has completed, maybe will have bendy

Since when Yishun feeders get MAN DDs?

a while back, 2 169 comes back to back, both rigids. i wonder the bunching is intentional or what, then this "bus arriving in 5 mins, next bus 20 mins" and " bus departed, next bus 15 mins, subsequent bus 22 mins". what's this?

there are many BTOs along the route of 904, so it be soon, adding A22s should be fine for now.
