Similarly, some people are too personal about other people talking about good things about SMRT, and would call the people who support SMRT as SMRT staff, I mean look at the previous pages. If it was a comment about SBS, no comments would had been made.

yes i read all. for me my experience is in east region. and i feel smrt not do good job with 61-67-854-969. don wan argue coz in ur region smrt might do better job than mine.

All are long distance routes, and long distance routes are prone to enroute conditions. I mean in the East, even 23 and 65 faces the same issues of late arrival and bunching, maybe it doesn't affect you or maybe the sector you take has alternatives.

and if 969 can no compare to 168 how u compare to 39. 39 is for pasir ris yish. 969 is for tamp yish. i kno even 67 so bad manage at tamp. most time morn get rigid when bus pack to door.
Totally not sure who's the one using harsh words now...
But yeah, Even 168 has its share of delays. Why not you try waiting for it at Tampines MRT? It comes off schedule more often than 969.
Okay sure, 969 may lose out in terms of HC buses. But at least it's showing signs of improvement! There are less rigids now than before.
And how you know 965 dont get 5-8 min? Ok maybe to clarify, it's during peak la. But 85 is far far from this! So is 117.

Who's even rude here? Calling ppl "r u stupid o wat"...
I bolded it to specially highlight my post or highlight the part of your post I'm commenting on.
I love how some people act innocent, in fact self righteous, keep it up, self professed transport guru who basically aren't much better than anyone of us but who likes to display some sort of false sense of authority (not the post or user directly above this).
Disclaimer: I wasn't trying to start a war of words here, nor did I try to target anyone in this forum. It was regarding some other phenomenons I observed about other parties, not really related to SMRT's performance itself.
I believe everyone has his/her own opinions whether SBST or SMRT is better, and it is hard and unnecessary for anyone here to push others to accept his/her point of view. So let's try to reconcile the differences and engage in healthy and constructive discussions, instead of just pointing fingers.
Sorry if my previous comments were too aggressive.

Don't worry, I have some fault at it, but I did feel like correcting a user's misconceptions regarding BSEP fleet allocations, but unfortunately the user concerned decided to reply with a personal insinuation which is definitely untrue. Till date, the user decided that he should appear on a moral high ground, with a holier than thou attitude, when he should had did something more reconciliatory or at the very least recognise that the sterotypes I have pointed out did apply to him based on observations of his posts.
And by now you should know I'm not referring to you when I talk about the user.
Like you, I do apologise to everyone else (less the user mentioned in the first para) for this.

Infact, your sentence isn't true. (Nature of Bus Enthus....love SMRT than SBST) There seems to be more SBST lovers than SMRT(not here).
You can have people saying SMRT sucks just because their train breakdown regularly. You can always say SBST sucks just because they bought a lot of KUBs or Citaros.
Still, at the end of the day, you rely on them. That's why I don't really see the need of having a post of "SBST vs SMRT" and/or comparing the BSEP svces and called "no brainer". Like if you have the brain, why keep quiet?

Let's not argue about this any further. Don't drag this issue all the way into 2016.
Enough said.
Get back to topic.

Even saying SMRT's BSEP services never get boring... Trying to cover up the fact that 979 has majority rigid fleet?
On the contrary, 118 is full fleet DD since its 1st day and nobody cares.
Slightly off-topic though...
I went to Punggol to catch 118 on first day and SBS6725D arrived, while everyone thought it was full DD. Not pullover. I often call downgrades 'chopped off upper deck'.
Wish you all a very happy new year. Hope 2016 is an even better year for you than 2015.
Peace and long life to this forum! :))

It's okay la. ç«¥è¨€æ— å¿Œ, it does take some time for kids to grow up...
Maybe in 2016 he will mature and speak in proper sentences and not commit whatever you mentioned

I also saw 6725D that day... I remember someone said there was an error with some DDs hence that Citaro was on service for that day only.
Since then, I haven't seen any SDs. (Although I admit I didn't really observe 118 since then)

Edited. Sorry for typo
I heard that there are passengers complaining about DDs being deployed for 979 coz the old people have hard time climbing up to the upper deck, so SMRT planning to deploy bendy for all its split shift slots (i heard got 3)... I am not too sure if this is true though...
Anyone saw any DDs on 979? Today there was 1 MANdy though...
Aiya this one also complain, SBST feeders got so many DDs also i believe old uncle auntie also complain cannot go up but SBST nvr deploy rigids to entertain them. If they cannot go up then be it lah. stay downstairs.

Hi mr SMB42P, so do you all realise by now that people are the main source of issues? You cannot satisfy everybody. You withdraw a bus service, people complain. You cut short a bus service, people complain. You amend a bus service, people complain. You give a new bus service, those who do not directly benefit complain. You give SDs, people complain. You give DDs, people also complain. You give people bus services to their bus stops, others want certain services to skip so as to be faster. You give people direct routes, they want express services. Cheers. Thanks.
