I have checked OneMotoring, it shows that TIB604R has been laid up on last Friday 17th October 2014, while the following buses will commence their official lay up on:
TIB607H, TIB608E, TIB612S - officially laid up with effect from tomorrow 26th October.
TIB614L, TIB615J, TIB617D - to be officially laid up with effect from 30th October.
In addition, I noticed that when checking TIB619Z, TIB621R and TIB624H's road tax payable (as their road tax has yet to be extended till next year), it also mentioned 'Road tax will not be renewed by GIRO this round. Please use other renewal channels.' This sentence, from a few past cases in my observations, is a hint that these buses will also be laid up soon.

I thought they are extended by 6 months?

Seriously i find this a joke..they haven even started their 6 months extension right? Suddenly LTA dun let SMRT extend these buses? Is this happening to CACs too?

Currently, the extended buses that reflected 'Road tax will not be renewed by GIRO' is up until TIB624H...For CACs, we may have to wait until after the date on which the prerequisites for renewal is met by to confirm whether it will be laid up...

Perhaps SMRT considered it a mistake to extend them though...after all the MANs are coming in faster than expected.

There is no space for SMRT Buses but SMRT can extend by 6 months because there is usually shortage of buses.

Replacement for 1896B. Timings tally with that of 1896B's and that on e-tt (for user '1929R').
SMRT had been very indecisive over these years of operations from what I feel. They should not have further extended those 0405s in the first place, and is such a waste to layup after given another 6 more months. It serves no difference at all as to scrap them once their 19 years are up.
Actually these O405s can be used for Bus Plus operation..? Yes/No? Oo
Bus Plus is registered under Private Hire Buses bro so Omnibuses cant operate unless there is a PA/PH O405s..

Someone removed 614L from the Wiki page's listing already, even though I just saw it on Sv 855 today.
616G on Sv 854 on the other hand.
621R on Sv 857.
On the other hand, 615J's replacement on Sv 169 might somehow be 516L (WL 966).
Has been consistently on that timing for past 2 weeks, even though last week 615J did appear on Sv 169 again but on another timing.
992 seen on 197 consecutive days

Those people just like to remove buses from the page when it has been reflected as 'lay up' in the records even though it has yet to start.

It would be best if a longer replacement can be found, I am not against 516L perming 966 but with less than 70 days left no point having it perm.
