V surprised to see Sv 176 get DDs. Really no problem with low branches along Henderson? If 176 can get DDs, 145 should def get. This Sv needs DDs for really long time.

Towards Bt. Panjang no problem... the other side i not sure...
Bro dont worry too much,The only worry is how good they maintain those buses and how many DDs will be added.Im in favour for DDs for trunk svc that have at least 12km per direction

Reiterating. V surprised bcoz all this while they said no to DDs on 145 coz of Henderson road. Had to add buses every quarter.. and have 145A to meet demand. I am hoping to see 145 getting DDs now.

That's why many SBST BCs driving 124/131/272/273/etc were stunned to see 176 DDs... lol

I can imagine.. lol.. 145 BCs might have hope for DDs now..
Slowly we might see DDs on 124 also then.. if they clear THB Heights area.
Honestly 124 doesnt need DDs,Only tweak the timings and add two more buses is enough,131 Norfolk/Owen Rd might have problems with 3 axles vehicles due to tight road spacing..

131 will not get.. Has too many height restrictions all along its route.
The only Tehlok Blangah services that highly deserve DDs are 145 and 176. Happy to see LTA take a bold move with 176. Now hoping LTA/SBST do the same for 145.
Other services like 57/124/131 all fall under "good to have" category.
195 is an exception but too many restrictions along Commonwealth Dr, Depot Road, Tehlok Blangah... and with 121 coming into picture, loading is somewhat relieved. 121 doing pretty good by the way from eye observation. Need to take it to see loading pattern. 120 still doing poor like 116.

Took 121 recently during peak, the loading was alright with Citaros, probably LTA can add 1 more bus to it for peak hrs for more passenger comfort...
Took 120 when it was new, it feels like feeder 240, but a money-eating trunk svc... ![]()

Why does it feel like sv 240? sv 240 has heavy loads...

121 AM load higher than PM... For PM, people prefer to wait by stop 195 as its frequency > 121. If 121/195 had called at same stop would have been better, but to do that routing would be challenging.

For the long route, not the load...

since when sv145 add bus every quarter? it DOES NOT even have any BSEP fleet add.
145 all along 20,22,25 & 27 in 4 years frame

121 needs better frequencies. Some regular commuters of 121 prefers to walk rather than take 121 because of its erratic headways.

Agree. Should transfer one bus from 120 to 121.
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:26 buses. Was 22 buses 2 years back.
27 buses now. 24 buses in may 2012. So added 3 buses in 10 quarters. So where are the balance 7 buses since u say it add bus every quarter.
