I like the idea of former SBS services returning to SBS Transit. Svc 61, 67, 190, 187, 171, etc... Especially best if the feeders also return to them. BB and CCK + BP buses.

We noted your interest/suggestion on the future bus depots. LTA had been working with land use agencies on the distribution of bus depots across the island. To optimise land use, longer term plans for bus depots include building multi-storey structures or integrating them with other future rail depots (like Mandai & Changi as you mentioned). Existing bus depots may be reconfigured to multi-storey structures or relocated when more depot capacity are progressively added.
So meaning what?Amdep/Hgdep to renovate into multi storey?Soon Lee high chance will stay because of it multi storey status.Woodlands might be gone as the capacity is only 300 lots without the bus park.

AMDEP-SMB should go because it cannot house DDs. The land on which it stands can go to SBS. SMB can transfer YIS routes to Seletar when it's ready.

I agree... and have raised this before... surprises me that so many high capacity services including 167, 172, 180, 184, 189, 851, 980, 985 have got no BSEP... I thought KJDEP got so many DDs... might deploy 1 DD on 172/180/184/189 at least.

Redundant la put so many DDs on 966 and 972..190 i can understand cause they try to reduce the bendy and a few single decker buses.972 no need 20-21 buses la,18 buses including 972A is more than sufficient.167 & 980 can deploy 2 DDs without having fleet cut.172 can deploy 4 DDs.187 until now only 1 perm DD with ocassion 1 cameo DD.

Former SBS BB feeders is 341,345 & 347 and BPJ is can use 360 and 362

Svc966 will always have 2 ADL bunch up @ Marsiling Stn towards MP around 7:29am. Both buses are carrying at least 20-30pax.

They purposely deploy this kind of timings cause a number of pax complain to newspaper about 966 cant cope with loads during this timing towards MP,Now 2-3 DDs come let see if they complain again.But seriously of off peak also 3 bises bunching than they have to revise again

No choice though. The BPJ area is getting more and more residents and since it's the only SMRT svc direct to TPY/Eunos/MP side, they will have to do it with good frequency like 190 & 972. BPJ too pampered already...

you're damn right. Even DTL 2 also fast tracked to open during Christmas when it was originally slated for next February.
