Hi mr sbs 9631X, bus stops were done 2 months ago. The markings 'pnggol rd' and arrow on roads were only done 2 days back. The greenery near 1 bus stop is still being done currently. So let's them continue the waiting game. Cheers.
With opening of TPE interchange bus stop, how much would be the additional travel time for services? I think 2 minutes can be added for each service in each direction, given they have to cut their speed, halt, expect high volume of loading/unloading/transfer and move ahead.
So in general for the entire runtime of service, we can consider 4 mins extra. This means to maintain frequency, run time will have to be adjusted or buses will need to be added to every service - will be interesting to see how it is managed. My view on this for few services
27 - no need
3 - can add one bus
34 - no need, just added another bus
88 - no need with full fleet DD/2 BSEP additions lately, service doing okay especially in Punggol-Pasir Ris sector
969 - def should add
39 - no need, frequency already v good
168 - no need, just got fleet add
858 - adjust runtime to maintain frequency
89 - no need, just need to adjust frequency in peak direction of travel

Is this the one near Mountbatten MRT towards Cbd/Lor 1? Should have 4 services calling this stop - 12, 14, 158, 196. Sv 30 may not call this stop as it has to turn right to Dakota.

Hi mr busanalyser, yes should be these 4 numbers. Saw it at a notice at pasir ris bus interchange maybe because sbs 12 is involved. It was not put at a prominent place but i still managed to see it. Cheers.
Spotted new bus stops at the repaved part of Kay Siang Road, just before the junction with Tanglin Road...
well, I hope 39, 109, 168, 969 will not stop at the TPE bus stop.

I think that bus stop has been there for long time... it is not new if u r referring to the same one.
On another note, Maragret Drive should get another service apart from sv 32 in the next few months given the mushrooming of new HDBs there.
Also, Jervois should get new bus stops and a service as there are more than 25 condos come up and still coming up along the road.

I think they will stop - add 5-6 minutes additional run time for every service (total).. this would mean fleet add for many services.

Suggestion for sv 119
The # of buses is quite less for the full route and frequency tends to be 15-16 mins most times. Instead of having DDs that do not exceed more than 55 pax, LTA should make it a fleet of 10 buses with 4 BSEP Citaros instead and give the 2 DDs to say route 43 and 87 instead that have BSEP Citaro.
This was sv 119 frequency can be brought to 10-12 mins and will be good use of resources.

Should be 9 B9TL for sv 43.

Not exactly to say as those who live in condo may not want to drive sometimes when going somewhere with an MRT station, and not all the housewives can drive. The children/teenagers can't drive either.

And to your point with COE for cars getting so expensive, even people living in condos need to be provided with bus services with good frequencies. Also, many people whose COE expires will not get a new car.
I had two cars. I did not renew my COE for one and I use only public transport. Now just have one car for family as they dont like using public transport. Spoilt, I tell you!
