No. Service 501 and 507 will be back in Early 2016
Sv72 will be getting another BSEP DD from next monday.....

Really? Current fleet is good enough and doing well... don't see the reason for one more add.
Service 97, 106, 111 and 502 will be extended first, then Service 62, 81, 82 and 103

got 72 dd 5min to 7min interval from tamp int. i count and get around 50 peop or 60 peop. most peop get down ave 6. i think 40 of 60peop get down ave 6. rest ave 9. it act feeder for ave 6. only service. so got good freq.

Peak hours bunching like mad,Like MRT trains..

Then, SBS2652G will get angry when Service 103 is: Jurong East > Yishun instead of Serangoon > Yishun
The Scania K230UB (Batch 1 Euro IV) remaining of them will be sold to City Direct bus services.

Sv 72 first DD will be packed (80-90 pax), 2nd DD which will arrive right at back will have 40-50 pax.. and then you will have in another 2-3 mins another DD with around 30-40 pax...
Basically many DDs getting wasted because of continuous bunching.. And there is no way to control bunching for a long route with 05 min frequency (during prime peak).

True, and that's my point. Is 1 more DD really needed when current fleet is at a 05 min frequency tanking the load well with 50-60 pax.

I used to alight at Tampines Int (the alighting berths closer to MRT) frequently on my way back home, and EVERY DAY I will see THREE 72 DDs entering Tampines Int together. And that's 1 year ago... So yeah I also wonder is this really needed.

You're looking from the perspective of each Sv 72 bus starting its trip from YCK to Tampines.. I do think there's several downroute points along the Sv 72 route during Peak though. So means, likely not all the Sv 72 buses are carrying the full pax loads for a full trip. If you get what I mean.

True - all I am saying is current fleet is doing very well, when I observe AM/PM departures from both YCK and Tampines... I see DDs leaving with higher # pax from YCK but believe most already alight along AMK Ave 5... to give space for HG Ave 9 loads to HG.
Tampines departures - most buses leave with 50-60 pax... In AM, this means still lot of capacity for people to board on ave 5/6/9... and in PM as others mentioned, bus is already empty exiting ave 9 to ave 10... loading again picks up at defu towards HG, HG towards HG ave 9... and AMK ave 5 to YCK MRT.

Not sure if LTA noticed...964/913 is "stealing" away 904's loading...
Anyway, waiting for 1 904 is terrible also..

I thought the purpose is to compliment those two service?

Yes, but at most the Woodlands Ave 7 stretch.. But 904's frequency is really atrocious when it comes to peak hours..

I believe those Service 72 DDs come every 4-7 minutes

That shouldn't be just the case...
Liddat you might as well fleet add those 2 svces or extend 913 route..
I believe this route can serve better purpose.

sv 904 does have a role to play. It may not have super high loading, but it connects parts of Woodlands east town that did not have bus service previously.
1. Current frequency may not be great, but then the loading justifies it
2. There are new HDBs at Woodlands Crescent, from where 913/964 stop is very far. The existing HDBs on the west of Woodlands Crescent have an option to take 913/964 and should also as it is faster
3. Woodlands Dr 73/62 got direct connectivity to Admiralty / Woodlands MRT. Note you have new upcoming HDBs here as well. Those closer to ave 7 will prefer to take 965/969/962.. but those whose house is inside... take 904...
904 is not really useless and okay for now.

Incase you are wondering, before the recent add, Sv904 do not have any buses resting inside WRI as of 8:30pm. Infact, it took about nearly 15mins+ or more for the bus that I just saw entering WRI to reach the berth.
Yes the connectivity to Adm Stn is good, but not the repeated sector of Av7. You would see most ppl alight at Adm Stn, finish.
If the bus takes Av9 or Av5 to get to Adm Stn instead of 7, at least it allows more passengers to have alternatives of not entering the interchange just to move from North(Av9) to South(Av5) or the opposite. That's lacking in the town of Wdl.

If that's your point I agree... Ave 7 to WRI has so many services now + with many getting DD upgrades... there is huge capacity and seldom buses are full between Admiralty and Woodland MRT (while earlier they used to be).
I also agree during route planning they should have planned the route better. There is missing link between Woodlands North and South which is undeniable and will be corrected to a small extent by TEL... but will benefit only those around MRT stop wanting to travel around those areas.
904 should not have been a feeder, but a short trunk between Sembawang and Woodlands town, covering Woodlands crescent and dr 62/75... this way it did not need to do ave 7. With the current routing, there is no alternative but the route to do ave 7, otherwise it will get more winding.
