Yes, as it will take over 103 when 103 was extended to Jurong East, making it Jurong East > Yishun

connect the NTF general hospital, turn right to st 13, then left to town hall and continuing to AYE. then instead turn right to corporation rd, it u-turn, following 240 then call at bus-stop outside mcdonalds
wondering which berth will it use...

At the temporary facility of the Jurong East Bus Interchange, there is a boarding berth with a blank signboard at the middle row. It is Berth 1, which cross-boarder bus services use. I guess bus service 49 will call at that berth when it is extended there. -

I am glad that they let the bus route 49 ply the smoother path to the Ayer Rajah Expressway.
By taking this path, it would also provide a faster alternative to the existing bus route 98 for travel between the Taman Jurong neighbourhood and the facilities along Boon Lay Way, such as the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, the Jurong Community Hospital, the Devan Nair Institute for Employment and Employability, West Gate Shopping Mall, West Gate Towers, JEM Shopping Mall, JEM office tower, Big Box Shopping Mall and IMM Shopping Mall.

More or less the route predicted. So Taman Jurong Terminal gone? or a new service will call Taman Jurong Terminal? If the rumours of Taman Jurong - CBD service are true, then maybe terminal will remain empty for a month, before new service starting from there.

2. Deleted this morning
3. Tables are not properly saved when file was converted to PDF
4. JE under Yuhua SMC
5. 49 is a BSEP service, extension counted as another new svc (like 386)

Anyway they didn't even say they counted 49 extension as another 'new' service... Just that BSEP poster was used. 386 should be a special case which I hope will not happen again
