New Bus Services Announced by LTA/PTOs

  Fix the Brickland junction and have a service from BBK to BPJ via Gombak, and CCK Ave 6/5/2.

  TBH they are more lazy then I though. Elderly users/market goers, I can understand. But CCK PS is not that far from Ave 5.

  But when you think of it, all is not lost. If 301 serve Ave 2 instead of Ave 3 towards Keat Hong (switch routes with 300G/W)...

  perhaps, this explains why they delay the new services?

  Actually, there was absolutely no need to introduce sv 301. 

  300G/W should have gone from ave 5 > ave 6 > ave 1 > ave 2 > cck way > cck interchange in the G/W pattern.

  301 no need

  983 should have been:

  CCK int > CCK Way > ave 3 > ave 5 > ave 6 > ave 1 > cck way > cck rd > bpj (loop) 

  If these were the two changes, everyone would have been happy + meeting future dtl2 needs.

  I like both your routes. I had suggested a similar route like the latter just that it did not do Teck Whye but went straight via CCK road, CCK Way to Keat Hong and further to Yew Tee area.

  For 300, I think you meant should not do ave 3.

  Junction for brickland rd and Ave 6 already up long time ago..
  google map havent update.hope that 983 will extend to Gombak MRT stn to ease the crowd at CCK mrt stn.

  once dtl 2 and blk 800+ are all up, then implement a new service to BPJ via the new btos.

  I absolutely agree that they should have a service to Bukit Gambok MRT. This MRT station is so under-utilized. Encourage some people to board/alight train from BKG given it is quite close and provide direct feeder/short trunk service.

  It would be great if 990 can be extended to CCK or Yew Tee via BKG

  Do they still want to introduce 301? I don't see a need. If 300G/W can be routed as:

  300G/W

  CCK Int > CCK Ave 4 > CCK Ave 5 > CCK Ave 6 > CCK Ave 1 > CCK Ave 2 > CCK Way > CCK Int. 

  Ave 3 can be covered by 983

  CCK Int > CCK Way > CCK Ave 3 > CCK Ave 5 > CCK Ave 6 > Brickland Road > BBT West Ave 5 > BBT West Ave 7 > BBT St 32 > BBT St 31 (exp) > BBT West Ave 5 (Gombak MRT) > BBT East Ave 5 > BBT East Ave 4 (exp) > BBT St 21 > BBT Central > BBT East Ave 4 (exp) & back to CCK Interchange

  301 no need - can be introduced later if needed as feeder service to Keat Hong (CCK Ave 1, CCK Ave 7, CCK Grove) once flats are complete.

  Hi mr marvel68, hip hip hooray if it is true. Everybody should have known by now the demand is damn great but sbs 3 is too winding to pasir ris/tampines. Obviously smrt 969 (full most of the times at TPE stop) and current sbs 34 (single deck) cannot handle the booming population in Punggol!!! I look forward to the good news. Anyway, nothing is true until there is official news. Cheers.
