Expect more nonsense from them since they will taking over all bus assets in 2016

In the map of BSEP improvements in Q1 2015, sv 386 is indicated as a "New bus service" with a label "Extension to Punggol East". Whereas in the past, the 'M' varieties and extension of sv 49 (it used BSEP poster template) were put on the map as enhancements or not even mentioned at all.I think this is because LTA failed to introduce a real "new service" in Punggol, so to cover their failure they put sv 386 as a new service. Which means, sadly, that we won't see new services in Punggol for some time. Maybe most we can see is a new service from Yishun to Punggol via Seletar Airport, since Yishun will get a new service in Q2 2015.
the extension of sv386 is consider as new route to the people at the extenion route... nothing wrong with the LTA press release.. . People are simply assuming things and spreading rumours , esp on that Sv164.... New route can be serve by new services or extension of services...
in Q4 2014, they also mention to introduce 5 new routes which include the extension of sv35, and yet i did not see anyone blasting LTA for doing such lowly acts that time..
Better connectivity with new bus services
2. Between October and December 2014, four new bus services were introduced - SBS Transit Services 41, 140, and 201, and SMRT Service 990. An existing bus service - SBS Transit Service 35 - was extended. This brings the total number of new or extended services under BSEP to 36.

At Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange, the issue is primarily on the capacity, secondarily on the air ventilation (being hot and stuffy, especially at night).
The current Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange occupies around 12k of land, and has around 12 (if only count main) services. If want to be larger, the larger facility should be able to host around five to ten more services, which means the size should be around 22k...
If the site of existing Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange is re-developed into Integrated Transport Hub, it is very likely going to include blk 302 and blk 303. If include blk 302 and 303, the entire site combined is around 23k.
23k also have to include at least some commercial at lvl one, so make it around 18k for bus interchange (around 5k for commercial), in the end only 6k more space. can only have four more bus services.
space around six more bus services at the possible new Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange in future.. okay la... already almost the size of one small bus interchange.
If so, temporary bus interchange is definitely at the site opposite it, along Choa Chu Kang Drive. The site is around 17k. Surely can build one-to-one replacement.
Meanwhile, a short-term measure is to install fans inside the bus interchange, to improve the comfort level.
this re-developing into Integrated Transport Hub is going to take quite a while, maybe will come together with Jurong Region Line, so I think it will only happen in ten years' time. 2025.

Yes, extension of sv 119, 11 and 35 are counted as 'new' BSEP services as well, but they are much more useful than extension of sv 386. Each of these 3 extensions are definitely better than introducing a new service to cover the extended sector, especially 11 and 35. And we can clearly see the purpose and value of extension of these 3 services, even though they may not have full loadings. (I would actually be glad if they just combine 120, 121 and 122 to maybe one or two services and call it a new service, instead of wasting resources especially along NBR-Tiong Bahru/Redhill sector.)
Whereas for sv 49 and 386, it's different. Sv 49 extension is, in some ways, considered as a new route for people at the extended 3 bus stops, but it's not very useful - mainly for people to go to the hypermarkets over there. Not saying that it's totally useless, but it's not some kind of great achievement that is equivalent to a new service. At least LTA at that time knew what they were doing. Sv 386 may be a little bit more useful than sv 49 extension, but still its usage is mostly limited to fetching Waterway residents to malls and schools in Punggol East (correct me if I'm wrong). LTA may have done nothing wrong, but I'm just very disappointed especially when Punggol is dying for more services (not feeders again please). Especially when sv 49 was introduced as a BSEP service, got extended, and its extension was not counted; but sv 386 was introduced as a BSEP service, got extended, and is counted again as a 'new' BSEP service.
Luckily they didn't put 'extension' of sv 982E as a 'new' service. Extended by 2 bus stops, lol.
Thats LTA for you...Its got pro and cons compared to Public Transport operators style.More and more stupid short services and extended routes they called new service.Shoot me if you wanna i dont give a hood bout it!Say bye2 to long distance trunks.

But all the BTOs along st 51 are still under construction... Earliest opening will be Q3 2016. Only Arcadia has opened to possession but it is touching ring road and has access to 860 to both Khatib and Yishun MRTs.
Maybe another rumour.
No doubt in future there will be a service to st 51 and ave 1. Also there will be another service to st 42/43/44 and ave 8.

983 should be 5 buses > 3 Enviros, 2 MANs (?)
301 should be 6 buses > 6 MANs
300 should be 10 buses > 6 bendies, 4 MANs
Is Stadium going to get new bus service?? I saw along Nicoll Highway, 2 new stops built which are near OCBC Acquatic Center near Stadium.
I hope they introduce one service connecting Haig road, Marine Parade, Meyer road & Stadium (loop service uni-directional on Meyer)

Construction of the 2 bus stops started last year or early this year... I don't think they're for new services given LTA's reluctance to introduce services that go beyond MRT stations. Maybe sv 16 will be diverted there given it served National Stadium before
983 once extend to Bt Panjang might get another 4 DDs..Best if can extend to loop at Marsiling!
New bus stops erected along Yishun Central near SAFRA yishun.. For 812 izzit or new service??
Might probably for the new feeder..

Given Monday loading reports, I think 983 might soon get another E500 as a fleet add in couple of months.
