last time say prioritise DDs for long haul trunk routes but now introduce DDs to a route that has a journey of 15mins
I rather 300 get DDs now make the svcs more confusing for CCK residents only
Think for the long term extension to BPJ..This svc was introduced by LTA not from them so lan lan must use DDs lor

If it was a feeder, it would b numbered as 30x, same as 860, if feeder numbered as 80x according to area's feeders...

983 route is direct - take it. There is no difference in amount you pay whether you take 983 or 301 because of the short route.
983 ought to get a split shift A22 or even E500..While was riding at CCK around 1845hrs saw both 983 E500 and A22 packed..Great loadings for a new svc

LTA has announced that they will introduce new service for Yishun, but not sure when. New bus stops along Yishun Ave 8 are signs that Yishun will get new service. For extension will be 860 and i think that the extension for 860 might be this year.
I was hoping 860 extend beyond Yishun and to Sin Ming estate is a dream

should just introduce 410M instead...bishan--> bishan st22, then loop at sin min area, then bishan st22 and interchange... can reduce the no of buses for 410G/W.
morning peak, can help to fetch workers to sin ming area, helping sv130 load...and on the return journey can fetch bishan st22 paxes to mrt..
evening peak, fetch paxes to bishan st22 and workers from sin min to bishan mrt..

I believe looking at the situation.. 860 load is damn good... But no DDs... Extend to where sia?? They should intro 850 instead... And add trips to 850E... Damn the bus always full de when reach my stop (2nd last stop before express to Dhoby Ghaut MRT)
Thats why Yishun is better under Wldep,860 can get DDs,851,855 all easily get DDs..Amdep part control 171,851,853,854,855,857 and other CBD/Eastern svc..Can relieve Amdep also till Ssdep is ready

Yes 850E all buses come to Dhoby Ghaut housefull. I had posted pics earlier. All 3
DDs have standees, means 80+ pax easily. Also the 2 MANA22s I have seen on 850E had good number of standees, around 60 pax for sure.
But 850E in evening...loading is still not great... sometimes I see the same slot bus departing Dhoby Ghaut MRT with 40 pax... and sometimes housefull. This is why it hasnt got PM fleet add yet.
But my recommendation is they should add 2 SDs for PM peak. Timings departing Shenton Way at 17.40, 18.00, 18.20, 18.40 hours

That LTA said in the press release at FB where they will introduce new services for CCK. One statement from LTA said "3 new bus services for CCK and Yishun to look forward to!' So 2 new service for CCK and 1 new service for Yishun but for Yishun LTA have not said the route details yet.
The route could be something like:
Yishun Interchange
Yishun Central
Yishun Ave 4 (2 new stops)
Yishun Ring Road (1 new stop)
Yishun St 41 (1 new stop)
Yishun Ave 1
Yishun Ave 8 (1 new stop)
Yishun Ave 6 (2 stops with 850E)
Yishun Ave 1
Yishun st 41 (1 new stop)
Yishun Ring Road (1 new stop)
Yishun Ave 4
Yishun Central
Yishun Temp Interchange
* Faster MRT connection to ave 4 from Yishun (current sv 812 takes long with poor frequency)
* Connects st 41 and new hdbs along ring road
* Service made to loop around ave 8 only because new bus stops spotted. Does not make sense to have service ply ave 8 yet. No development around currently.
Honestly I hope there can be a service from Yishun to Punggol via Seletar Aerospace Park and Yishun Ave 8...

If it goes beyond to Punggol or Sengkang, makes sense. If only loop service at ave 8, then does not make sense, as ave 8 has nothing right now around it.
If its a feeder then no comment,if its a trunk then Seletar Aerospace is the way
