192 actually can split into two. I observe that when it is towards Boon Lay, most of its loading drops at the bus stop along Benoi Road (Joo Koon MRT Station). but there is still that few (one, two, three...) who will take it all the way to ave 4/st64. maybe that can cover by 193.
whereas for the 25X routes, I guess except 252, most (if not all) will be shortened to Joo Koon. new routes may be in the 25X category.
recently notice during weekday morning, 251 and 252 the end-on berths at Boon Lay Bus Interchange have a lot of people. I'm not sure if this is also the same for the other 25X routes. should really check data to see which are the "hot spots", and allocate more resources there.
My guess that the routes that start from Joo Koon will be 182,192,254,255,257 & 1 new service to cover the missing links of 192 (Lok Yang) & 254 (Boon Lay Way). 193 can be amended to serve Pioneer Mrt by going through st 61 where 257 currently passes by.

Why was route 16 amended to skip Stadium Blvd? was it because of CCL construction and subsequent operation?

Hi mr sbs6750E, you are too overzealous. It will not happen. The route is too long. At least the idea is sparking enough. Better than the usual Punggol to serangoon/Hougang which have really too many links at present. Cheers.

Not true. 16 was made to skip the stadium sector entirely due to the temporary closure of Stadium Dr/Rd for the buliding of the sports hub and therefore it was amended to ply Mountbatten road instead.

news on amendment of service 972 (with extracted poster) at the malay news website, Berita

not in LTA FB. it is also out at SMRT website
off topic: oh ya, the 2 new bus stops along fajar road, outside the completed BTOs there is also completed. most likely 922 & 972 going to stop there soon
My guess of bus services to start from Joo Koon Bus Interchange:
Service 182, 249, 251, 254 and 257
rode sv103 today, unsure if DDs can ply on sv103 due to narrow roads at Piccadilly and Oxford Road turn, West Camp Rd roundabout

Looking that no WEGs were registered, and it was only Citaros, we can only guess that 103 will get 4-5 extra Citaros, no DDs.

By the way roundabouts should not be a big issue... we have quite few services where DDs do the roundabout. Also DDs also ply narrow roads... depends if there are height restrictions... low branches etc.

Wrights can cameo on 103. Given that there are heavy loadings, why are there no SWTs for 103 or no single DD? Maybe it is due to Piccadilly? Not enough DD is ruled out, since SBST sure has spare Wrights and Taros running about.
so new pungogl service should be tampines - punggol service? but why state only punggol then? should state both tamp and pung right?

nobody say is Tampines to Punggol also. I heard is a short trunk from Punggol to Sengkang West supplementing 50 and 163

Hopefully SBST could either shift it back under Merdeka Bridge, or deploy a few DDs since the load could be pretty heavy during peak.

16 is doing fine with SDs... there is 14 to complement it on most part of its route... and frequency is quite good too.

Friday and (sometimes) saturday nights. NTUC Centre stop. After 2200. To Bedok.
Nuff said. Go see for urself if u refuse to believe
Edit: Bet you wouldn't even be Able to board by the time it hits Nicoll highway.

DDs cannot be deployed on 16 as there is height restriction at Joo Chiat Road, same with 33. The solution is just to improve its frequency or introduce SWTs lor...

extend 163 to punggol and terminated at st michael road bus terminal should be better. and also have 164 to city area using TPE and CTE exit at jalan toa payoh like 857.

Eh! Enough said... like that every service needs DDs in Singapore.

Should be to do with aerospace area. That could be the only limiting factor, else 103 loading does warrant DDs now.

Hi mr wsy1234, I think current sbs 163 route is long enough. No point to extend to Punggol on 1 end and st Michael on another end. Sbs 163 frequency and long winded route add on to its unsuitability. Cheers. Thanks.

Review loading and chop off low-demand sectors/stops that has one or more alternatives

tbh 103 should have SWTs
I strongly believe there will be 103M which loop at Aerospace Park back to Sgoon
