so she can continue to drive citaro or kub... why stop all DDs due to one person...

Yeah, it makes no sense because 103 is not having a full DD fleet even if it intends to have DDs.
Hahaha,Like that if svc like 855 is to use DDs then 1 BC never pass also postponed ah use DDs?Kakakaka
Got info from AM shift BC of SBS6098E that all BCs passed, only left tree pruning along Piccadilly needed...
Loyang Bus Depot will be the fifth and the first SBS Transit bus depot to be built by the Land Transport Authority. It will be located off Loyang Avenue and house several services from Changi Airport, Changi Village, Pasir Ris and Punggol (2, 3, 6, 12, 15, 17, 34, 36, 43, 43M, 62, 82, 83, 84, 85, 119, 136, 164, 354, 357, 358, 359, 386, 403 & 518, including NiteOwl 4N, Premium 538 and 569), eventually it will reduce congestion along Ang Mo Kio Bus Depot, Bedok North Bus Depot and Hougang Bus Depot due to the growing population.
Is it there are 1 new bus service on punggol and 1 new feeder bus service on pasir ris ?
164 from punggol & 357 from pasir ris.

I dont get why 62,82,83,119 and 136's situated at loyang depot?

To be honest AMDEP to Punggol is nearer than LYDEP

I think for the Punggol deployment is just a temporary until a new depot is built along Northeast corridor in future,Even in Bulim package also Clementi also a temporary measurement until Tengah town is developed.

Only 136 i dont understand why..
Pasir Ris feeder should be extremely small for Pasir Ris Grove that needs a service because of huge # of condominiums constructed and operational in 2015
Pasir Ris Interchange >> Pasir Ris Dr 3 (express) >> Pasir Ris St 52 (existing, new stop @blk 572) >> Pasir Ris Grove (Opp NV Residences, Bef Pasir Ris Dr 8) >> Pasir Ris Dr 1 >> Pasir Ris St 52 >> Pasir Ris Dr 3 (express) >> Pasir Ris Interchange
# buses = 2 A/P, 1 S = 3 buses (Citaros)
u mean 357 to pasir ris grove?
they mention 164 and 357 is comfirmed to be launched next time ?
then for 164 is from punggol to which areas?
I guess this new feeder route is only temporary. In future when Tampines North is developed, it may be re-routed to Tampines. ......
Actually, it makes more sense to have it at Tampines. The route can ply along Tampines Avenue 12 and Tampines Concourse, loop at Pasir Ris Grove. ... length would be around 6km. well, since now Pasir Ris Grove not constructed yet, maybe can let it go to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange for the time being. next time then re-route to loop at Pasir Ris Grove and return to Tampines.
can try to add a new pair of bus stop along Pasir Ris Drive 8... maybe somewhere near blk 524A and blk 524B... if want, can construct new pedestrain overhead bridge with ramp at Pasir Ris Drive 8, since that road is kinda like semi-expressway; dangerous to cross the road to Coasta Ris BTO.(yeah, also interim. next time when a traffic light junction is build can take away already.)
.

Actually Pasir Ris grove is within walking distance to PSR Mrt. Somehow I feel it would be better if it was a short trunk from Tampines looping at PSR grove.
All, Kupang LRT on sengkang west loop will be opened on 27 June. This shows LTA is starting to implement changes with fast actions. Firstly, sbs 85 with some single deck changed to double deck from 22 June. Secondly, Kupang LRT will open 5 days later. Expect more coming up for sengkang west. Cheers

So that makes 85 the first SBST service with DDs at Yishun Int?
Quite anti-climatic.
i hope its CCK via SLE BKE KJE.
Originally posted by carbikebus:I strongly feel its either terminate at BPJ or CCK
A bit doubtful for CCK, with its jam-packed interchange right now. Unless they extend some regional services to Bt Panjang (such as 983) to free up the space, which doesn't seem likely yet when 164 is introduced.
Bt Batok sounds a little too far distance-wise already. Still possible for Bt Panjang.

39 alr have DDs, now 85, soon followed by 103.
