Berthwise, there's always the possibility of service swap, in which a BPJ service gets extended to CCK, and a CCK service gets extended to BPJ, with overall no net increase in services but the area in between (CCK Ave 5/1/7) gets coverage. Then there's no need to introduce a new feeder.
On BPJ side, 700 or 970 may be worth extending.
On CCK side, only 925 is likely. 172 may still be possible if the extended BPJ service serves CCK Ave 1 to allow it to reroute.
If these are not possible ... find a short trunk to loop at CCK MRT, such as 990 (amended to start at JE, seeing that it's under TT anyway).
Originally posted by TIB 585L:I doubt CCK got anymore space to take anymore service. Its already congested after 301 n 983 was introduced.
I would say all these won't happen all at once.
1. Required Q3/Q4 2016 - CCK can manage as feeder will not need many buses
2. 700 extension should happen in Q1/Q2 and can be swapped with 983 starting from BPJ instead
3. This will not affect CCK/BPJ parking lot
4. This is just route diversion, with not impacting CCK/BPJ
5. Route extension, mostly will impact JE more than BPJ.
So don't really see CCK getting more congested than what it already is with these changes.
How about shortening 67 to BPJ instead of going all the way in to CCK.

67 needs to go to CCK but in future needs to be shortened. My proposal is it follows 961 route beyond Dunearn/Ferrar road junction. 961 reduced to loop @ Beauty World
67 will still need to provide link b/w Upper Bukit Timah to CCK town.
Drove along Koon Seng Rd today, no signs of new bus stops.
2nd week dec still no news of new service.

I knew it... as expected. 979 will go stagmont ring in the future so as to benefit the residents more. The future route shld be woodlands rd to stagmont ring to cck north 5 to st 52 and so on
simply wow wow wow wow. i love lta for intro long route and not stupid short route this tym.
nice for service 117, very close to what I predicted eariler on
Originally posted by SBS n SMRT:nice for service 117, very close to what I predicted eariler on
My predictions:
47 - GROSSLY Incorrect
117 - Quite close, just that I had proposed ring road instead of ave 1 (90% similar)
118 - Exactly same, except for I had proposed Punggol Way --> Field --> Road --> TPE to give connection b/w Punggol West and East (90% similar)
979 - Quite close, except I thought it will enter in from Woodlands Road, do North 6, North 5 and then do crescent.
Overall very happy with the routes launched this time. A bit disappointed with 47 as it is quite duplicative to sv 12 and other services. Would have preferred if sv 47 served Bedok North before doing Marine Parade, but I guess the objective is to connect CBP to Marine Parade. Sad to see it is not connecting Bayshore as that condo is filled with people living in CBP but then the route would have duplicated 48.

Agreed. I am also happy to see that LTA has woken up and realized routes like 116/120/122 could have been better planned.

Hi mr busanalyser, public transport website states 382G/W is coming up next in the BSEP. So this may be the new feeder service for the new sumang link bus stop and the new sentul crescent bus stop for Punggol safra. Date for safra opening is april 2016. Cheers. Thanks.
