Anyway, I mean no offence and am grateful to BusAnalyzer and SBS6465E for correcting me and for the information. I am out of SG on holiday now, so when I get back I'll perhaps run down to my school to do some observations, perhaps for a longer period of time and aside from the time that I go home from school. Thank you for the information.

Lol I'm a Victorian and I live in Chai Chee, there's quite a lot of us in Kembangan, Chai Chee, and otherwise Bedok North... let me assure you that our school (and I mean our school) is certainly aware of our transport situation, be it for students heading to Tanah Merah, or to Paya Lebar, or even to Bishan, Woodlands, Jurong)...

Kembangan MRT a bit too far to walk. Most of my friends say walk to East Coast Rd take 12 can liao. But the thing is for most people who don't take MRT, then we have a problem... which is why those of my Victorian friends who are happy with 47, are happy with the segment near TJC (lol).
But for those Victorian friends who are unhappy with 47 (yes there are, don't think Victorians are all follow CB2883J's position), then hmm......
Anyway enough discussion about 47 routing, I don't expect LTA so easy change bah. Leave the VS position as it is, as has been said 47 main point is the MP-CBP, all else is secondary...
I think there should be a separate service lol for Bedok North. Maybe connect Stadium-Marine Parade-Bedok North-Bedok Int. That would have to be a new service (Route Suggestions thread anyone?)

I wouldn't say finally, but...lol
Ok ok discussions of the routing aside do u think 47 is under loyang package?

Thanks dupdup77!

Hi mr SG5001C, 95% no. Sbs 47 is not under Loyang package. 25 services will be Loyang package. Under contract, they should be from changi airport bus terminal, changi village terminal, pasir ris and Punggol interchange. Sbs 47 is not from these 4 places. Cheers. Thanks.
47 under Loyang while 117 is NOT
maybe a package under GCM for northen part of sg will be under sbst? or else no reason why 117 is not under loyang
How come 117 is not under Loyang package? It starts from Punggol Interchange. If it is not under the Loyang Package, it wouldnt have been awarded to SBST, I feel. So much of that route is in SMRT dominant area.
I thot 117 was awarded to SBST cos it is under loyang. If it were under Loyang Package then no point awarding to SMRT mah. Since all the other services already under SBST, it will be easier for Go Ahead to take over 117 from SBST too. Administratively easier. Even 85 is under loyang.
As for 983, 2 BDs will be good. 1 BD with the rest DD, might as well just use DD and SD. i wont be surprised if 979 gets a mix of BD and DD as well.
117/118 under Loyang package la dey..47 under Bndep/Cgbp.
it does not matter which package which bus go. y so much u discuss.

Hi mr proudtobeme, this forum is to discuss any appropriate items related to bus. Loyang package is one of them. To you, it does not matter. But to others, they matter! All of us are free to discuss. Cheers. Thanks.

You are right Mr dupdup,Those off topic is the one should be told.
The page for the punggol feeder 382G/W is already up on public transport sg and it will be for sumang estate as predicted. It will be intro next month. My prediction for the route is: Punggol Pl, Ctrl, Walk (new stop), Sumang Link (new stop), Walk, Punggol field (new stop) and back to Punggol int.

Hi mr marvel68, Punggol field got new stop? Since there is G and W, 1 direction goes sentul crescent first and 1 direction goes sumang link first. Even Punggol cove primary school near nibong LRT will be covered. Cheers. Thanks.
Guys, it says "Bus Service 382: New route (Punggol to Sumang Walk – Loop).".
Which part of that suggests bus service 382 is a bi-directional bus service?
Anyway, this is how I think the route would be like:
Actually, it is quite obvious. I just used OneMap.sg and find the shortest route.
This is the route.

The original source of 382G/W came from MyTransport.SG's interactive map in the web portal under the heading of "For Month of Jan 2016".

Anyway, this is how I think the route would be like:
- Bus Service 382G
- Length = 3.39 km
- Estimated Travel Time = 6 - 12 minutes
- Punggol Bus Interchange
- Punggol Place
- Punggol Central
- Punggol Walk
- Sumang Link
- Punggol Way
- Punggol Central
- Sumang Walk
- Punggol Field
- Punggol Place
- Punggol Bus Interchange
- Bus Service 382W
- Length = 3.41 km
- Estimated Travel Time = 6 - 12 minutes
- Punggol Bus Interchange
- Punggol Place
- Punggol Field
- Sumang Walk
- Punggol Central
- Punggol Way
- Sumang Link
- Punggol Walk
- Punggol Central
- Punggol Place
- Punggol Bus Interchange

Hi mr one-punch man, why do you keep ignoring sentul crescent when the website also puts sentul crescent? The site already says it is bi-directional yet people choose to ignore it. There is also a pair of bus stops physically there already. Doesn't it look very appropriate to go into sentul crescent and turn one round and comes out and go to sumang link nicely? Hope it really goes this way. Cheers. Thanks.
382 Punggol to Sentul/Sumang
382G will head towards Punggol Field and return via Sentul Crescent (clockwise)
382W will be reverse (Sentul Crescent/Punggol Field) (counter-clockwise)

Hi mr SMB145B, yes this looks more likely. Need install 1 more plaque at Punggol bus interchange. Currently only got 3. Need 4. Cheers. Thanks.

They should have built a permanent interchange or ITH to cater to more services... Current temporary interchange is totally unsatisfactory and I don't think it can accommodate more services. This is not in line at all with the plans to make Punggol the biggest town...

Punggol ITH isn't happening anytime soon.
I am sure a couple of Punggol service will be amended to start from Sengkang instead..83 & 84?

No need for 84. Just 2 buses anyway. 83 is a good candidate to move base to Sengkang.
