sv 154 loading is going to get a beating.
49: Lakeside to YC Rd
201: AYE to Clementi
154B/52/184: Clementi to Ngee Ann
151/74: Clementi Rd to Adam Rd junction
151: Clementi Rd to Macpherson
Wonder if 154A is still needed now that 49 is covering huge part of YC road to Lakeside.
And sometimes it makes me wonder why SG isnt doing what HK is doing...
Aka making current outdated svcs (eg. 67) express
SG just refuses to face reality and continues building slow MRT lines and casually spamming useless routes... Except for a few of them

any photo of it?

Sorry, i didnt take any photos of it
Oh ya, for red plate, 49 and then below it, it states "jurong west st 41"
Position for red/white destos for 49 is at left bottom windscreen(where they usually put diversion notices) beside the WAB logo, not the usual right side for other services like 21 60 etc
Originally posted by SBS3688Y:how come still need the additional red/white desto? Since all of sv 49 bus fleet are using EDS. or else simply ask the BCs to switch off the EDS when the buses turn right into the terminal road; since they just serve another stop before looping back to terminate.
Or use the "T" plate? Like those on townlinks

Some 123/123M buses are also placing red/white destos at the same place...
...
Any change in sv 49 fleet on account of extended route? I don't think needed but random BSEP WEGs spamming on this sv since monday.
New svc 201 run by ARBP, BBDEP or SLDEP?

Should be BBDEP, IMO
990 should be full BUDEP and can ONP at BBT if start from KJDEP

Will be BUDEP.. .dont see why it should be KJDEP.
Think LTA should just let SMRT take over Bbdep and SBST can have both Bulim and Kranji.Changi bus park also can hand over to SMRT with the opening of Loyang.SMRT can park those Tampines/Bedok/few of 858/966/Eunos/Lor 1 Geylang svc
sv 990 will have 4 or 5 buses?
sv 43M should get 5 buses with 3329J + 4 new BSEP DDs
20 buses should do full route 43
and 5 buses dedicated for 43M

Saw one of my friend post on FB said, Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisations just released a super lambat poster which says that Service 49 will be extended to Jurong East on next year...

i find 43A more efficient than the full day 43M. the resources are not wisely utilised. SWT should only operate when demand timing is high. In morning peak last time: 43A used to go Off Svc via Tampines Rd back to Punggol for the next trip which is a short cut. now 43M buses are under utilised during off peak most of the days as sv43 buses can easily absorb the loads and also along opposite the peak direction.
Hi mr SBS3688Y, this is expected. Nothing abnormal. When M is introduced to replace A, this is what you get. M is full day while A is only few hours. You cannot have the best of both worlds. While you prefer A, another guy will like M as it is more flexible in terms of timing to him. So have to give and take. Cheers.

43M very well utilized between NEX and BGk green in both directions. Buangkok to PGL buses run empty. If Serangoon int had been bigger, for sure 43M would have looped at Buangkok Link or BGk MRT. Now since they need a proper terminal/int, buses have to operate from PGL.
sv 201 fleet should be 8 or 9 buses... 4 DDs, 5 SDs... (4 Sds in case of 8 bus fleet), controlled by BBDEP.
M variants act like A when peak hours and off peak is normally between 18-28 mins,So quite justified.
