Anyone has photos of the bus terminal when it was still operational?
There are of photos of bus interchange in the early 1980s, 1990s such as the old jurong bus interchange, old jalan kayu bus terminal when it was operational, old bus terminals.
Yet, i couldn't find photos of Marine Parade bus terminal! It was only closed in 2001!

Why open a new thread for it? You can ask in "Miscillaneous topics" or "questions on singapore buses"

Somewhat off-topic, but I really find your criteria of opening new threads somewhat strange...a few days ago there was a thread on 'De-registration of buses' in this forums which you claimed to be a good topic but in fact, de-registration of buses actually meant the same as if buses are taken out of permanent fleets, which would have directed the topic at 'Redeployments'.
Well, I do find such threads worthy of discussing and reminiscing as I also can't remember it. Threads are meant to be opened when only there are people wanting to discuss about the content itself.
Probably can ask Mr Big Lai Fai at FB...
I hope there is a new mini terminal at Marine Parade..
Of course it will be better for people to check out the existing topics before they comment. However we cannot stop people from opening new topics and whatever they want. This issue cannot be eradicated. Those topics which have much poorer interests among forumers will die off by themselves when people do not comment anymore. Cheers.

Well... i thought de-registration was a good idea... coz we do not have this in one place... anyway the thread was opened by someone else, not me... i just said good idea.. anything wrong with that?
Topics like this are totally absurd.. and do not warrant a new thread IMO

Absolutely. A thread on old bus terminals would have been perfectly acceptable a couple of years back.
Why argue over it now? Pent up frustration from the long wait to alight at Bedok Interchange?
Negative and harsh responses only drive newbies away and straight into the hands of lobbyists. This allows them to gain more collective power and push for ideas that create more future Bedok Interchanges.
Before closure, M Parade Bus Terminal had services terminating
13,16,55,76,135,155,196,211,213,853
211 feeder to loop Amber Rd
213 feeder to loop Fidelio St
used to take 211 daily, only 2 buses deployed, SBS4676 and another
memories...

Exactly.
I have reading this forum since 2005 although i only created an account in 2007. Even before tamago was made a moderator.
I have see the drastic change in this forum community
This forum was much much more active in the past.
I guess i can attribute this to the influx of new users who think they set the rules here.
Anyway, back to topic.
Looks like i may need to ask big lai fai for some photos.
Really hope LTA build a mini terminal after Parkway Parade
