On 070815, demand for 927 was so high that queue for 927 went all the way to berth 3 (927 was at berth 1) at around 1120am. As such, SMB1464Z was pulled from 190 to do 927..and all 927 was packed to the door...
Yesterday, SMRT decided to add buses to 927, and also pull some buses from other svcs to help with the crowd...many of them when spotted were packed to the door...
Even without holidays,Service 927 still short of buses. They should have added 1 more A/P and another split shift duty.Total 4A/P and 2SS for weekdays and 4A/P and 2TQ for Weekends/Holidays..Even 926 is also crowded on Sundays..

Today they added even more buses..headway was as short as 5 mins...
Service 307 operates with 10 buses today, which i feel should well be done even during normal days (be it weekdays or weekends).
4 buses are constantly on 307E and will only operate the YewTee loop. Bus will terminate at bus stop opposite CCK MRT. The other 6 buses (the usual perms) did the normal 307/307E route...
The 4 buses were slot alternate with the 6 perm buses, such that one will go Teck Whye, the next will end at opp CCK MRT...
Headway at CCK INT towards YewTee was 5 mins and they managed quite well in my opinion...
The only downside is that only SMB1498B and SMB1604L has the yellow sign that tells pax that bus will not go Teck Whye, the other 2 buses have no sign at all.. therefore there were pax that got mixed up and BCs have to keep saying that their bus will not go TeckWhye...
Hopefully with this trial today, they can implement this everyday, and prolly renumber as 307A for those buses that dont go TeckWhye...these 307A buses can use bendy...
Free doesnt come cheap. Bus waiting interval were long. 12mins - 30 mins this morning. Nevertheless, it is better than nothing! :)
SBS5106Y has loud motor on Service 157
