Yup. I saw two Mercedes Benz 0530 at Queen Street laying over. Then I was on 851 when I saw SBS 6744 Z turn from Queen Street to Sungei Rd.
While at Bukit Panjang, I saw SBS 6736 Y with a paper desto on the windscreen XB - 11... Exercise Breakdown huh?

I have one or two issues here but then I dunno whether they are relevant to talk about...
1) Redundant Sub-Topic
- I notice there are quite a number of redundant post mentioning about the different bus terminal individually.. I believe there is one sub-topic post collated already... I find it utterly messed up with some users creating new posts.
2) Redeployment Page
- For the past few years I've been on this forum, there has nt been any issue with posting a new topic posts for Redeployment be it with spelling error.. Commonly is just a duplication and I will allow the senior user to carry on while I ask the moderator to lock my post...
Recently, I feel that just because of a small minor spelling error, user start a new post and say use his instead with the reason of there is a spelling error... I feel now there is a lot of bullying and stubborness happening.
Just IMO, stop all this and go with the flow of the current forum...
About yesterday Bulim Open House...
The interior of the shuttle bus (Volvo B9TL) seems SBS Transit with the Sticker and the fare table... Overheard one of the bus enthusiast ask Neil Smith whether the bus is inherited from SBS Transit but he mention that it is a new bus.. Hmmm.. Front Bumper and back bumper is also in purple...
Same goes for the Mercedes Benz on display... SG 1002 B has a front and back bumper in purple, a purple grill and interior with stix of SBS Transit.. Looks like there isnt gg to be any change in the interior?
It's simple. Yes they're new, they haven't been used on revenue service before. They were bought through the current PTOs and that is why they were delivered with those specs.
Also, ever considered the cost of overhauling the interior (such as seats) when there's nothing wrong? Who will pay for it?

technically, he is correct about that it is a new bus...(it have not been registered/deployed before), just that SBST/CDGE is the body builder... same go for the citaro, which is build by MB....

those so call bus fans does not care about the cost, when they are buying the concession pass or paying student fares.... some even suggest that the current PTO is concern about their corporate images?

Yep. From my observation, ytd and today slot was taken by SMB5896J, and yes they're diff as it is a facelift of the demonstrator,SMB5888H.
I observed from the SGwiki website... SMRT buses have a lot of X-over to other services and X-over to premium services...
Quite a messy deployment for SMRT. What you guys think about that?
SMRT is keen on hiring new BCs..For 969 duties,The sequence is 1 per 1 between SD and HC buses..SD-BD-SD-DD and so on
