Hi mr array88, mr TIB1112L has said Sbs 117 is from Punggol to sembawang. So this rules out it being a feeder service. Route is currently being planned. Cheers. Thanks.

This is the stop right before TPE, so cannot be feeder.
Hi mr busanalyser, Sbs 117 may go from Punggol way to sengkang east road, turn in towards anchorvale street, Fernvale street, fernvale road, then sengkang west way and jalan Kayu onwards. Currently there is no link from Punggol to anchorvale street. In this way, it will not duplicate Sbs 85. So may not necessarily go from Punggol way to TPE. Just guessing only. Cheers. Thanks.
The Bus Stops im talking about is at Sumang and Nibong LRT..

Yeah I know... That's why I said it might be a feeder. I think BusAnalyzer and dupdup77 misunderstood.

It would be good to see 117 plying Anchorvale St and Fernvale St if possible (especially if 102 is already plying Sengkang West Way - just my speculation). That area definitely deserves a service even with LRT in place.
It would be good if another feeder can be introduced in Sengkang for smaller streets like Anchorvale Cres and Compassvale Cres, but I don't think it's gonna happen soon.

Yes misunderstood... could it be 117 is planned via Punggol Way and then the link to Seletar via Punggol dam and go straight into Yishun... this way it can cover Punggol town and provide direct connectivity to Yishun/Sembawang region. #justsaying

Is it in the same direction which 49/335 plies, or is it in the opposite direction?
It would be very interesting if the latter is true.

That one special usage only...Only IMH buses to pick up mental disorder passengers going for treatment
New bus stops spotted at Jurong West Street 93. However, until now, I only saw one side of the road have bus stops. That is the side where traffic is towards Jurong West Street 91.

So looks like 85% confirmed that 99 is gg to be extended. I feel it is quite good to let the bus terminate somewhere...

sv 99 serves a huge purpose as major intra-town between Jurong West and East... It serves so many malls/shopping centers/business parks/polyclinics/schools and HDBs ofcourse that invariably this service is notorious for huge delays and bunching issue.
The looping point is quite far away and makes some buses heavily crowded due to delays, and then bcoz of bunching other buses are empty.
So it is a wise decision to have sv 99 terminate at Joo Koon. This will really improve the efficiency of the service + connect the entire Jurong town to Joo Koon. So those working there can directly transfer to another bus at Joo Koon rather than taking feeder bus to MRT, MRT to Joo Koon and then bus.
I think 99 extension will be popular and I think the additional buses on account of extension should be all WEGs.

True also. I also would think that there would be a dual depot control. Besides 99, I would also suggest that 241 will start from Joo Koon too and then looping at St 61... Is it visible?

Nope. You cannot get a service operating at 03-04 min peak frequency to go to Joo Koon. 241 is doing amazingly well with full loadings.. there is no reason to extend it. Plus when 99 is extended, it serves the purpose already.

I might think 99 will be transfer to Soon Lee Depot and the starting point will be Joo Koon instead of Clementi.Just nice 99 can joint 98 and 97 sequence at SL.
99 cover what route from st 91 to joon koon? go upp jurong road?
