does psr ris st 53 become psr ris dr8 in future?

Does svc 241 also call at the new bus stop along st 91 at blk 418? svc 99 does call, but did not see a press release stating svc 241 will call at the new bus stop.

Sorry. I did not check before writing. I have -deleted- the earlier post.
I have checked the website of SBS Transit.
Yes, bus service 241 now calls at bus stop #27531, one of the two new bus stops along Jurong West Street 91.
Apparently, according to the timetable page of bus service 241 for that bus stop, bus service 241 started calling at that new bus stop since yesterday, 28 November 2015.
Somehow, this reminds me of that time in year 2007/2008 when buses started calling at the new pair of bus stop along Jurong West Street 64, and there was no press release to inform residents about it.
Surely st 91 residents are going to be happy. Don't know why it took extension of 99 to build that extra bus stop. The distance between the two stops is quite a bit. I expect 99 loading to be very high between st 91 and Joo Koon. For sure most would prefer to go back to Joo Koon and get a seat of preference in MRT.
Even in PM, if you just alight one stop later (3 mins travel time), you are guaranteed seat in the bus unlike 241 that could already come crowded from BNL Interchange. To add to it, people might change shopping habits and start shopping at Fair Price in Joo Koon instead.
I will check Joo Koon out once all services kick in.
LTA just released news that Sbs 3 will ply the extended pasir ris drive 8 after the realignment of pasir ris central from 12 dec 2015 onwards. Sbs 3 will skip the bus stop along pasir ris drive 1 and will also ply 2 sets of bus stops along pasir ris drive 8. Cheers. Thanks.
After seeing jurongresident's route suggestion of a new bus svc to serve Biopolis/Mediapolis, I went digging around google maps and found that bus bays have actually been provisioned along some roads, including Fusionopolis Way. They probably don't give a full picture of how new/amended bus svc could be like (the bus bays only cover certain areas), but just thought it's interesting to share.

Maybe it will be the extension of Svc 91 or enhancement of the Buona Vista/Ghim Moh services?

All these new bus stops might be related to Service 983.
The estimated completion date (ECD) of the 3 BTOs around the pictured area is Q1 2016; so probably it's this month (between 10 Dec and 27 Dec / before DTL2 commencement) for the route extension towards BPJ.

I doubt this will be the extended route of 983. It will be quite winding to BPJ MRT. As I had previously mentioned, sometime in 2016 there will be a feeder service for CCK Grove/Ave 7 from CCK MRT.

Actually why not just amend 191... Since it doesn't have much demand anyway.

983 can still take the route of CCK Ave 6 / Brickland Rd / CCK Grove / CCK Rd. It's about the same distance as going via Bt Batok Rd.
Actually, considering the proximity of this estate to Bt Batok, why not introduce a new short trunk from Bt Batok (passing by Bt Gombak MRT, loop near CCK/southern Yew Tee) to serve it instead? In this way residents can also opt to avoid the ever-crowded CCK interchange and MRT to transfer at Bt Gombak.

Could it be extesion of two services? One maybe would be Svc 301 from Ave 6 turn right along Ave 1 and then to Ave 7 and Svc 983 go by Ave 7 and CCK Grove then using Choa Chu Kang Way and Choa Chu Kang Rd to reach Bukit Panjang?

91 in future will get extended to newer part of Ayer Rajah Crescent in future. Mediapolis folks and also walk to sv 91 bus stop in future. 191 demand should see some uptake w/ Mediapolis. But SBST will also need to add 1-2 more buses.

Yes that was a suggestion before to extend sv 990 to CCK via Bukit Gambok / Keat Hong to give alternate connection to Bukit Gambok MRT.
