Hi mr proudtobeme, don't use such words on others. Check out your own first before you do that. During town planning, to go Sengkang east drive, one bus from Punggol drive (sbs 50), one bus from Punggol central (sbs 85), one bus from Punggol field (sbs 62). By one sentence from you, you anyhow take out one service (sbs 85) with no replacement. You still dare to call other names?
Sbs 83M, what a joke! Enough said. Come to monitor this area often and you tell me is 83M really necessary? What about the linkage to sengkang east, compassvale drive, rivervale drive from end of Punggol central/Punggol east? Totally destroyed by anyhow re-routing of poor suggestion by you. Cheers.

Hi mr proudtobeme, I think you should be the one who should be banned. People who anyhow use words and accuse people should be banned. Everybody comes to forums to complain and criticise but when criticizing, be rational and back your topics up with good reasons about bus. This is logical. Value-added or not is another issue. It depends on the ways how people look at it. But certainly when people use words like 'no shame you have' and tend towards ways of abusive behaviour or thoughts, then these people should be banned.

If not enough, introduce 117, old 85# route and operate full day.
Hi mr sbs6750E, how about the direct link between end of Punggol central and rivervale drive, compassvale drive? Cheers. Thanks.

so like that punggol dr and punggol field got no service to rivervale dr & compassalve dr. so introduce new service for both road for direct link. no logic u got.

Hi mr proudtobeme, I believe you did not consider carefully what you say. From the way you talk, it seems you just talk in a fit of anger and simply argue with no sense and just want to carry on with your suggestion. Currently there is direct link from Punggol central and Punggol east. Even sengkang east drive opp Blk 157A has a link to rivervale drive and compassvale drive. You removed it without any replacement totally. Even other people in this forum will have tried to patch it up with sbs 117.
I may sound harsh because I am an affected resident in this area. The current climate does not allow people to just simply remove a sector of the route when it is currently being provided. You certainly will not like it when others suggest to remove a service you take very often and nearby your house. No hard feelings, please. Thanks.

Well, we are anticipating the opening of Joo Koon Bus Interchange...
I would consider 182, 254, 255 to start from Joo Koon..
Then freeing up Boon Lay Interchange for a feeder towards St 93/91/92;
Service 245
Boon Lay Interchange - Jurong West St 91 (Loop)

The route I just proposed in another thread... haannn.. :))
....
858
Woodlands Interchange --> Woodlands Ave 7 (express) --> Admiralty MRT --> Woodlands Ave 7 (express) --> Sembawang Rd (express) --> Sembawang MRT --> Canberra Road (express) --> Yishun Ave 2 (express) --> Yishun MRT --> Yishun Ave 2 (express) --> Khatib MRT --> Lentor Ave (express) --> Jalan Kayu --> TPE stop --> Changi Airport Terminal 1,2,3.
958
Woodlands Interchange --> current 858 route --> TPE --> Jalan Kayu --> Punggol Way (Punggol west) --> Punggol Central --> Punggol Road --> Punggol Dr --> Punggol Central --> Punggol Interchange.
** 858 Express service to TPE/Changi for those living in North suburbs. Can quickly transfer and connect at any of the NSL MRT stations
** 958 will cover missing link of 858 + offer new connection to Punggol West and East towns to northern suburbs without need for transfer.
** 958 acts as intra town between Punggol West and East
** 958 can use high capacity buses!

Amdep can take in a few duties.
I think 965 should first concentrate to get its frequency right.. and get in some more DDs..

I don't quit see the uniqueness or purpose of any of the routes you have outlined. The only one that has some merit is 952.
Again 952 does not need to wind along Cluny if the purpose is quick travel to Woodlands. With TEL coming, would this route still be necessary? Not sure. If yes, it should not do Woodlands South but rather be routed via Woodlands West. In either way Woodland goers would have option of NSL and TEL in future to Orchard.
