sv 44: Changi Business Park Terminal <> Meyer Road (loop)
Changi Business Park Terminal >> Changi Business Park Central >> Changi South Ave 3 >> Changi South Ave 4 >> Changi South Ave 2 >> Changi South Ave 1 >> Xilin Ave >> Upper Changi Road >> Tanah Merah MRT >> New Upper Changi Rd >> Bedok MRT >> Bedok North Ave 1 >> Bedok North Rd >> Bedok Reservoir Rd >> Kaki Bukit Ave 4 (exp) >> Bartley Rd East (2 new stops) >> Kaki Bukit Ave 3 (1 new stop) >> Kaki Bukit Rd 3 (1 new stop) >> Kaki Bukit Ave 2 (1 new stop) >> Eunos Link >> Jalan Eunos (Eunos MRT) >> Still Road >> East Coast Rd >> Joo Chiat Rd >> Marine Parade Rd (Parkway Parade) >> Amber Road >> Mountbatten Rd >> Fort Rd >> Meyer Rd (4 new stops) >> Tanjong Katong Rd South >> Mountbatten Rd (exp) >> Amber Rd (and back again....)
** Some major routing parts are marked in bold
** Provides Bedok / Tanah Merah MRT connection to SUTD and Changi Business Park
** Provides direct MRT connection to industrial estate of Bartley road east and Kaki Bukit industrial north that do not have any service today. Will also connect to DTL3 at Bedok North, apart from providing EWL connection at Eunos & Bedok
** Connects Eunos MRT to East Coast Rd / Joo Chiat that do not have connection today
** Provides Fort rd/Meyer road with connection to Parkway Parade, i12 Katong, shophouses along East Coast Rd (no service today)
** Route is a bit long but connects important nodal points, institutes, industrial areas, malls, markets...
** DD friendly (might have to trim a few trees along Meyer road).
Originally posted by Path Light:I may love that route but it does not serve Boon Lay Bus Interchange
If you are serious (and I'm serious here), my suggested 150 can enter Boon Lay Int in both directions so that people will have 172/180/150 to choose in the interchange. Or it can be shortened to Boon Lay Int (which will have 4 less services, freeing up space), and 257's route will be covered by another service (e.g. 193).

Technically, Changi Business Park is not a part of Tampines so I doubt the rumored Tampines to Marine Parade service will start there. But good suggestion...

- 253 can serve the lower part of Benoi Rd (at Keppel Shipyard Benoi) in both directions (can consider new bus stops opposite) before going on to Pioneer Rd / Shipyard Rd and loop at Tanjong Kling Rd, and provide faster journey to Joo Koon.
- 251 will now continue along Pioneer Rd and skip Tanjong Kling Rd / Shipyard Rd.
- 257 can be diverted to serve more of Gul area (Gul Ave / Circle / Dr / Way) before proceeding to loop at Pioneer Sector 2. Currently its route is almost entirely duplicating 254.
- (Alternatively, swap these changes on 253 / 257, so 257 serves lower Benoi Rd and 253 serves the Gul area before going on to Pioneer Rd / Shipyard Rd).
- 256 can skip the last pair of stops along Benoi Sector and extend to Benoi Cres, Pioneer Cres, Tanjong Kling Rd (no loop) and Jln Samulun to ease load from 249.
- 258 can bridge the link from some of the industrial sub-areas to Pioneer MRT (e.g. via Kian Teck, as you've suggested) to divert some crowd away from Joo Koon MRT.
- 192, 193 remain unchanged; transfers to 192 can be made at Benoi Rd (from Joo Koon MRT), that to 193 can be made at Pioneer Rd Nth (from Pioneer MRT).
Maybe a good route

I see why you re-used the service number from array88, the sector from Jln Eunos onwards is exactly the same. But good route nontheless. Not particularly helpful to SUTD students for MRT links, as 2, 5 and 24 do the job well enough already.
Though I would consider combining this service with 60 to form 44 (Bedok - Meyer Rd via Kaki Bukit Ave 3) and 60 (CBP - Eunos via Bedok Reservoir Rd), if not for the need of a brand new service.

Maybe better if Service 983 extend to loop at Bukit Panjang Road before Bukit Panjang ITH is completed

No the route from Eunos to Meyer road is not the same. Check again. Mine does East Coast Road to connect i12 Katong and shophouses to Meyer/Fort road and Eunos as well.
Also my route connects Kaki Bukit North / Bartley East Dorms and Industrial estates that do not have service today.
It connects CBP to Bedok/Tanah Merah and this link is absent as well.
By the way your suggestion on sv 60 is absurd... sv 60 serves as feeder to Bedok Reservoir from both Eunos and Bedok at a super high frequency of 04-05 mins from Eunos and 08 mins from Bedok (since 60A is there). You cannot extend it on either end as it will screw the main purpose of this service.

No. Alps Avenue served by 35
Revised post.
Projected most efficient Yew Tee - Bt Panjang service: extension of 177.
Brackets before road names denote the number of bus stops. Bold road names denote proximity to MRT stations.
--------------------------------------------------------------
SMRT Service 177: Bt Batok Int - CCK Cres (loop)
During the first trial, 177 will operate during off-peak hours only (unless eventual demand necessitates otherwise). During peak hours, it will instead run these short-trips:
This suggestion makes the most out of a current service (including fleet, boarding berths, etc.), taking into consideration:
