Given the few number of stops served at the Buona Vista / Ayer Rajah side, changing to NEL/CCL would be much more useful and direct.
Not to mention the winding route of AYE <--> CTE and subjection to delays.
Splitting up 852:
Service 852: Sembawang - Bishan
Service 848E: Yio Chu Kang - Bt Batok
Rationale:
Cons:
Suggestion: Service 118 amendment
Rationale: A minor route extension to allow better transfers to Sengkang / Hougang at Punggol Rd bus stop. Also serves Compassvale St.

extremely duplicative to sv 30 and other services along Holland road to Raffles.

Despite duplicative but it do serves different catchment areas. residents from Avenue 1 Blk 416,417,418,423,424,425 may take this service to Dover MRT as an alternative during peak hour

If it's just during peak hours, an AM peak-hour short trip would suffice. Don't have to introduce a new service all the way to the city centre, unless there's significant point-to-point demand. Not to mention there's already 14/106 to Orchard, and 154 to Taman Jurong & Boon Lay.

The bus service already have a bad frequency... If get implemented that way, might as well have two seperate feeder service....

Good idea to improve the frequency of 160. Though my version is slightly different:
Service 150: Jurong East Int - Senja Rd (Loop)

If demand necessitates, can amend/extend to serve Dairy Farm. Can also be amended to serve more of the upcoming Bt Batok West estates in the future when it is ready (along with new BB feeders).
Great idea, too.

Notes:
> Improves frequency of 14 between Bedok Road and Bedok Int, especially to/from Tanah Merah MRT during peak hours. Alternative to 14/45 during PM peak when commuters board at Tanah Merah to Bedok Road.
> Possibly about 3 A/P SDs, with 2 split buses during peak hours.
> Will share berth at Bedok Int with 14.

Good suggestion. Believe 14B served a similar sector a while back.

1. Reduces crowding on 975 by providing a direct connection between BPJ/Teck Whye and Old CCK by skipping CCK MRT
2. Enhances BPJ connection for CCK Av 1 and will reduce crowding on 172 by supplementing at CCK Av 1
3. Direct connection between BPJ & CCK to Cleantech/NTU/Joo Koon
Maybe can try 978 BPJ-CGA via Marsiling/SLE/TPE?Once the concept model can be use for feeders,Kjdep/Amdep can use up to 14 A24 for this service?For a start 20 buses should be enough?Kjdep 11 A/P 4 SS and Amdep 3 A/P 2 SS?10 A24 for A/P and 4 for SS?858 can use 18 A24.

If you add up the distance ...
Assuming we go by something similar to 187 + 168 + 858.
Is it worth introducing such a service? You have the DTL at BPJ and 858 at Woodlands after all.
Service 11 (Extension)
Sims Pl - Rhu Cross (Loop)
Sims Pl - Sims Dr - Sims Av - Aljunied Rd - Geylang Rd - Old Terminal Ln/Kallang Airport Way (Express) - Nicoll Highway - (Old route to Rhu Cross) - Lor 1 Geylang - Sims Av - Aljunied Rd - Sims Dr - Sims Pl.
1. New connection between Aljunied MRT & Sims Dr. Currently, 125 only provides one-way service to MRT
2. New connection between Sims Pl & Geylang Rd & SportsHub
3. Anticipated higher demand = better freq = better svc for Tg Rhu

In my opinion, I feel that Old Choa Chu Kang Road does not need another bus service, when there are already bus services 172 and 975.
This bus service can ply direct using the expressway.

- 187 from BPJ to Woodlands is about 10.5km.
- 168 from Woodlands to TPE bus stop is about 17.7km (858 and 969 are marginally longer this way).
- 858 from TPE bus stop to CGA T1 is about 14.3km.
- Sum the total and double it -- that makes approximately 85.5km round-trip.
- And that's only serving the bare minimum of stops at BPJ, Marsiling, Woodlands, TPE bus stop, CGA.

Majority of the distance is expressway,If LTA wanna people give up their personal transport they should introduce this kind of trunk svc,Not some mumbo jumbo less than 7kmh journey then call it trunk.
