  In future we will see only trunk svc like Boon Lay to Teban Gardens the most..Tampines North to Hougang,Upp East Coast to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal sort of long svc trunk..

  I just want LTA/SBST to launch a direct route to Orchard Road/CBD from the North East/north West (Yew Tee). Should operate full day. No need think of cross island long winding trunks already.

  actually, if the LTA wants to have new routes of up to around 40 km, we can have bus routes like this:

  • Boon Lay - Sengkang
  • 39.71km (to Sengkang) | 39.69km (to Boon Lay)
  • 66 minutes (to Sengkang) | 68 minutes (to Boon Lay)

  Hi, personally I am not too much of a fan of this, please hear me out.

  While I understand your intention of bridging the two together I feel that the Punggol-Yishun sector is adequately coveres by 85's increased capacity and that 103 is currently at a sufficient loading for the West Camp Road and Seletar Aerospace sector.

  And although I understand the motive behind providing coverage for Sembawang/Canberra sector, I feel that the rest of the route may be put to better use.

  That being said, I have a personal interest invested in my own suggestion for PGL-SBW 164, covering Springleaf, Nee Soon and Khatib Camp areas. We can critique each other if you like.

  Hi mr TIB1112L, it looks very winding around Punggol. Plus it duplicates the 7 LRT stations in Punggol east line. So don't think they will really allow that to happen. Other than that, it looks good. Cheers. Thanks.

  Proposal for sv 102 

  Hougang Interchange --> Upper Serangoon Road --> Buangkok Dr --> Punggol Road --> Sengkang East Way --> Sengkang West Way --> Jalan Kayu --> West Camp Road --> Seletar Airport (loop)

  * Connects HDBs along Upper Serangoon Rd to HG MRT (currently have only sv 62, sv 324 stop quite far); connects condos along Buangkok Dr

  * Connects SAP and Sengkang West to Sengkang MRT and Punggol road (x-fer to other bus services)

  * Full SD fleet

  ** This way both Punggol Dr and Punggol Ctrl will get connected by bus service

  ** Fast connection to Yishun / Sembawang

  ** Bus will do full northern stretch of ring road and Yishun Ave 5 (only 1 trunk service today)

  ** To start with can be full fleet SD.. can upgrade later once loading increases

  I would get the service to serve Sembawang Cres and Sembawang Ave. Then can get rid of 859 as well.
