The sawtooth section has 15 parking lots. The end-on section has 18 parking lots. Officially, the bus interchange has 33 parking lots.
but I think the capacity can be as high as around forty one, as there are buses parked at the sides of the driveway. I guess there is space at the sides of the driveway for around eight buses.
There will be some renovation works at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange, by the LTA. The renovation works will be completed at around June 2016. I guess more parking lots will be drawn (probably only at the side parallel to the road; around five) and the official number of parking lots will increase.
An average of 55-60 buses overnight parking at Bt Batok Int.

Delayed till 2017

Last time 92 also had short layover at Science Park before its extension. After the three-point turn bus would stop there for 5-10 minutes before heading towards Buona Vista... Luckily when I was joyriding BC was kind enough to not force me to alight.
Similar case for 63 at Rumah Tinggi, although 63's layover is longer than 92's.

I mean rest at Science Park.. Not Buona Vista.
Science park should built a terminal
Terminals/Interchange that have scope to expand.
CCK >> the field on opposite side of MRT/interchange can be used to house eastward moving services such as 172, 190, 307, 985, BPS1
Hougang >> The field opposite current interchange between Ave 10 and Central can be used to house a big interchange
Sengkang >> The area between current interchange and Compassalve Rd can be used to house the extension (problem is quite far from MRT so should move services there that do not have high volume boarding at Sengkang)
Punggol >> Field opposite current interchange on other side of Punggol Central can be used to house a bigger interchange (con: a bit further away from the current one)
Some interchanges like Clementi have no hope for extension/expansion.

Talking about Hougang Interchange, any news about the new ITH at Hougang?

aka most of the ITHs that the geniuses in the government. they close the door to future expansion, unlike 'classic', non-integrated interchanges, totally omitting the fact that bus ridership will only increase.

Hi mr TIB868X, their vision is MRT. Not buses la. Their vision is 80% of residents in singapore will live within 500 metres of an MRT station by yr 2030 when cross-region MRT line opens. Please note that they envisage increase in MRT ridership. Cheers. Thanks.

Sengkang extension has already started some time ago... Same for Tampines.
Add more to the list:
Bedok: Actually the old Bedok Temp Int could have been kept as an interchange extension... Although it depends on whether so many services are needed at Bedok. But still better than the current small ITH.
Boon Lay: Similar to Bedok. Although the ITH seems to have enough capacity after Joo Koon opened.
Jurong East: New interchange coming up. I hope it will be bigger than the current one... If not I have nothing to say.
Serangoon: There are fields outside the current bus interchange to build an extension (albeit on slopes). Badly needed as it can house 81, 82, 116 and 43M. It was a stupid decision to build such a small ITH in the past...
LTA should add another 1-2 depots beside the 12 package for GCM.

Absolutely agree on Serangoon. It is centrally located with NEL/CCL/NEX... and it would just have made sense to be bigger.

Hi mr array88, it is actually easier to say. However you need to revisit the time frames where the interchanges are built in relative to why the current interchanges are built that way. Note the interchanges are built without the BSEP in consideration. BSEP is only launched in yr 2011, many years after the interchanges design plan are conceptualized. So at point of instance, those interchanges are planned to house a certain number of buses. If all failed to see this point, there is no use to launch scathing and all those 马炮remarks. Cheers. Thanks.
actually, the solution is simple:
build more bus interchanges/terminals lor.
best is to build next to MRT stations - where there are food shops - so don't need to set up new canteen business.
Apparently, not all roads and sites can accomodate bus interchange/terminal. :(

Eunos can take in up to 2 routes from BDK. 9 & 35 are the best candidates.

Hi mr iveco, no need. Bedok can still withstand current bus services. Just don't add anymore to bedok and it will be ok. The slots at eunos interchange should take in new bus services in future. Not to get existing routes from other interchanges. Cheers. Thanks.
Im happy if 401 can start from Eunos.
