Tuas got space for at least 50 bus parking. Was in the area the other day so drove down to Tuas bus terminal. There were 6 DDs parked there and had lots of space. What I counted was at least space to park 50 buses.

LTA very funny,Tuas with so much space is called Terminal and YCK/HBF with lesser space is called Interchange..😂I would only call it Interchange if there is a feeder svc at least.
@Carbikebus, I need your help. Can you use your connection with Changi Airport staff, to help save people('s lives)? I have one Uncle working at Changi Airport. Just saw him today during Chinese New Year reunion. Was shocked to see him in white hair and broken teeth. It's really sad to see him like that. Then when we asked him what happened, he say he purposely hurt himself, just to get some kind of medical leave or benefit. What kind of stupid mentality is this? I believe there is some kind of "influence" among the Changi Airport staff, to purposely self-harm themselves. Please use your connection with Changi Airport, to raise this to the management. Ask them to review the working conditions and happiness of their workers. It's really sad to see my Uncle like that.

Hmmmm i heard it will hold some cross border services, but not sure if its like the CW or express services? Coz in anyways it would be good, like rerouting CW4 to tuas ter since its entire route dist is abt 60++km to pontian and making it more frequent to increase connectivity
Pasir Ris no need new interchange but expansion of another 10-12 lots with 2 alighting berth and 2 boarding berth is sufficient..
Yio Chu Kang need expansion of another 10 lots with a alighting berth and 2 boarding berth.
Harbourfront also need another 6-8 lots.Would be great if there a new feeder to loop at Bt Purmei or Telok Blangah Drive.
Changi Airport really need an open centralise Int with 16 lots Harbourfront style.
24:2 lots,27:3 lots,34:2 lots,36:3 lots,53:2 lots & 858:2 lots and 2 spare lots.
Changi Village need one more alighting berth while boarding berth to be shifted further near the food stall.

do u think the CW services from JE & Boon lay will shift to tuas ter once tuas link MRT station open?

hbft dont need a feeder, already have 123/123M passing through bt purmei and 124 at telok blangah drive for connectivity. imo more than enough. 123/123M returning to hbft mostly empty at night

Hi mr SBS BUSES LOVER, I agree telok blangah drive has service 124 to harbourfront. What is needed is a direct service from telok blangah drive/heights direct to tiong Bahru mrt. This is currently sorely lacking and I am wondering how did the authorities manage to let this slip through their eyes. The BTO flats at telok blangah heights opposite the hill are up already and there are more flats coming up. Cheers. Thanks:

Hard to say! JE and Boon Lay r strategic locations for travellers as it is vry accessible (same logic as the SGKL HSR being placed in JE eventually, even thou the mrt can still provide connection in some way if its located in tuas). But then come to think of it, most CW services thru 2nd link has vry long dist like the CW4 i mentioned earlier. It would be helpful in either way as the drivers can rest at a nearer stop aft a heavy jam or smth, unlike the fact that they hav to drive to JE and Boon Lay. Proper parking lots shld oso hav.
Essentially both places got its pros and cons

120 doesn't stop at Tiong Bahru MRT station bus stop unlike 121/122... it turns into Lower Delta Road before Tiong Bahru Plaza...

I agree.. there's 120 to Redhill MRT but only a few pax stay until Redhill because of its windy route, most pax alight at Telok Blangah MRT. Should have routed 122 from NBR to Telok Blangah Drive/Heights via Tiong Bahru MRT and Henderson Road instead of doing C'wealth. 120 isn't affected much in this way as it mainly used for transfer to Telok Blangah MRT and its catchment is between Alexandra Road and Redhill MRT. A feeder or short trunk that passes by Redhill MRT from Bukit Merah interchange can cover Margaret Drive/C'wealth instead.

Hi mr TIB585L, 120 did not pass by tiong bahru mrt station. Check it out. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr marvel68, thanks for agreeing with me. Yes 120 is too windy to redhill mrt. Cheers. Thanks.
The routing of 120/121/122 has been rubbish. Whoever did these routes did a very bad job. I agree there should be connection between Telok Blangah Heights to Tiong Bahru and this could be achieved by better routing of 120.
ideally 120 route should have been:
HarbourFront -- Telok Blangah Road -- Telok Blangah Dr/Heights -- Henderson road -- Telok Blangah Way -- Lower Delta road -- Jalan Bukit Merah -- Kim Tian road -- Tiong Bahru MRT -- Lower Delta road -- Alexandra Road -- Tanglin road -- Kay Siang road -- Margaret Dr -- Queenstown MRT -- Dawson road -- Kay Siang road & back.
1 service would cover 120-121-122. It will be high loading servixe that can be operated at 07-10 mins interval. It would also connect Dawson that has been ignored. 124 in turn could be extended to Bukit Merah Inteechange via Telok Blangah Heights.

Hi mr busanalyser, leave 124 untouched. 273 already connects telok blangah heights to Bukit merah interchange. Cheers. Thanks.

Problem is that Telok Blangah St 32, Cres and Rise will lose direct services to Telok Blangah MRT and Tiong Bahru MRT respectively. Arguably people can walk to nearby bus stops, but the elderly will not be happy.

121's route is fine, just that it has very poor loading between NBR and Ganges Ave. Perhaps, should have routed 121 to ply Chin Swee Rd instead of Zion/ Kim Seng Rd. At least Chin Swee will have connectivity to Tiong Bahru MRT and also it can complement 174 betwen Outram and Chin Swee.
As for 120, I think if it were to routed the way you suggested, it will lose the popular Alexandra - Redhill connection. 120 is the only service from Alexendra Retail Centre and Redhill MRT and its loading is high along this stretch during peak hours. Also, it will lose its connection to Telok Blangah MRT which many Telok Blangah Dr/Heights residents rely on. Better to leave 120 untouched in my opinion.

Hi mr marvel68, yes service 120 left untouched. Best is to introduce new short TRUNK to connect telok blangah heights and tiong Bahru mrt with a direct route. Cheers. Thanks.
It is difficult to change the routes now but I don't support introducing one more new service to Tiong Bahru. Already too many. 120-121-122 should have been launched appropriately in first place.
One service could have done the job of 120-121-122-124 and ofcourse there could be other service consideration/routing to connect Redhill and Alexandra.
But anyway what's done is done. Have to stay with these services. Those who want to go Tiong Bahru from Telok Heights will have to transfer at Henderson/Telok Blangah way to other services available.

Hi mr busanalyser, they need it. Another bunch of new BTO flats inside telok blangah heights are on the way. Sooner or later, the pressure will tell. Cheers. Thanks.
An upgrade of capacity, from single decker buses to double decker buses, should be sufficient, since most of the above-mentioned bus routes use only single decker buses at the moment. No need for new bus route.
