LTA should consider expanding Bt Panjang Terminal for another 40-50 lots for BPJ temporary parking until Gali Batu Bus depot is ready.

Interesting. Seems like Woodlands' case wasn't considered an ITH at all from what I searched...

How about Jurong East?

It is, but there is no news of its completion date even as of now, unlike Yishun's which has been estimated to be 2019 since 2015.

Is there even a plan?
Also, did everyone forget Punggol is also temporary int?

Hi mr array88, no plans for jurong east int. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr array88, I did not forget. Yes Punggol is a temp int. However the temp interchange is getting expanded and gosh so many more parking lots coming up. It may be permanently there too when they realize no other places near Punggol MRT can take over to be permanent interchange. Cheers. Thanks.

No rush, the authorities will probably build the ITH for Punggol on the other side of Punggol Central, plenty of space over there!
Probably will build it when a second shopping mall in Punggol is justified?

Actually the plan is very simple. The ITH for Jurong East will come together with the Jurong Region Line (or before that), so details for Jurong East ITH will probably be released with details of the Jurong Region MRT line itself. Cheers.

Hi mr orange28, which side? The site next to waterway point is the Punggol town community square with library and hawker centre coming up. If you are talking about the field next to the current interchange, I think maybe 30% got chance.
For your info, Punggol plaza is the first shopping mall (no matter how small) in Punggol. 2nd mall is the waterway point. 3rd is oasis terraces mall (ready Q1 2018). So the second shopping mall is already built. Cheers. Thanks.
Does the proposed CRL terminate at PGL? Maybe the future PGL ITH will be co-located with the CRL terminus, if it is the case.

It goes further to Pasir Ris and maybe even Changi Airport Terminal 5.

CRL main line: Changi Airport T5 (unconfirmed) - Loyang - Pasir Ris - Paya Lebar Airport - Hougang - Ang Mo Kio - Sin Ming - Sixth Ave (unconfirmed) - Clementi - Pandan Gardens - EWL Tuas West Extension
CRL branch line: Pasir Ris - Punggol
The branch line might become the North Shore Line and extended to Yishun/Sembawang in the future IMO.

Jurong East Temp Int came years before JRL was proposed. But it could be possible that plans for ITH was delayed for JRL...

Yes. If im not wrong the north shore line was like this proposed line years ago, but was put on hold or abandoned when CRL came in place. But please correct me if im wrong, i read these online (cant rmb sources)
In fact ystd straits times said that T5 could be served by 2 mrt lines, and the current EWL shuttle is likely to discontinue. Idk if therr will be any changes to bus services? Is there going to be a proper bus terminal in T5?

Sorry that I didn't follow the news lately... But how can CGL be withdrawn when there are already plans to modify Tanah Merah MRT to make it just like Jurong East? Not to forget that neither TEL and CRL are likely to serve T1/2/3 which CGL does.
