Alighting berth same size as CCKI's but with 4 doors, 3 boarding berths, 9 services, 15 12m lots, 6 bendy lots.
sv75, 184 & 700 still operate from the temp park.
Some changes will be made with the surrounding bus stops when the ITH opens, so wait for the media release.

Meaning 176,920,922,970,971E,972,973,975,979 from the Int?
I was hoping that 75 & 180 will start there and 975 & 979 together with 700 start from the temp bus park instead.
There is widespread speculation that 700 may get axed. If that is so, 972 should terminate at NBR, with 190 ending at SWT and weekend service 190A looping at Suntec. Also, 176 is the most suitable for starting at Gali Batu, while 971e should start from the interior of BPJ estate.
A side note, if the new SWT can accommodate one more route, 857 should layover there.
r u saying that 857 may ply a single road in 2 directions?

I am thinking somewhere along the lines of 133 style.

I suppose 97 style is better... 133 style will certainly result in complaints from people who used to board 857 at Suntec.

After Marina Coastal MRT Station opens:
- New Shenton Way Terminal will be built along the entire strip of Palmer Road, with boarding and alighting facilities.
- Old Shenton Way Terminal will be renamed to Maxwell Bus Terminal.

Its not speculation. 700 just got its lifespan extended.

Will 700/A be axed then?

That's for LTA to decide.
Question,Can normal DD enter RWS basement terminal?
There was news of 171 cut to BPJ as well about a year back. I think they are waiting for BPJ Interchange to open before making further changes.
700 is doing quite well. I don't see the point of axing it. Can be renumbered if they don't like that it is the only service with 7xx.
700 can further be extended to Boon Lay via CCK Road, CCK Ave 1, CCK Ave 6, CCK Ave 5, CCK Ave 3, Brickland Road, KJE/PIE, Jurong West Ave 2, Jurong West Ave 4, Jurong West St 64, Boon Lay Interchange.

why will it be named Maxwell bus terminal? Will it still be in use?

It would have been better to have 972 start from temp bus park as it would help facilitate same stops transfer to CCK/UBT/Woodlands Road services at BPJ Road.
Temp Bus Park:
75, 176, 972
700 extend to CCK or Boon Lay.

Extension to Boon Lay is way too far, making the new route 36km in one direction and prone to delays / bunching. Along with the different loading pattern on both sides, not worth it.
CCK maybe, but there would be a duplication of route (190) to Orchard. Also provided that there's space, which doesn't seem so at the moment. (Unless ... we can move some CCK services to Gali Batu or Bt Batok, then possible)

61 should move to CCK and delete the Ubi sectors...

Not possible unless there is a split AND a route swap with another service.
Also why cut Ubi? 61 is there for a link to Eunos where 63 doesn't ply.

My preference has always been CCK but there is space constraint, unless 172 can be made Boon Lay <> CCK (loop) to accommodate 700.
It won't duplicate 190 at all except for starting point as 700 will use Keat Hong to reach BPJ while 190 uses Teck Whye. Given how popular 190 is from Teck Whye to Whitley-Orchard, I assume 700 will be v popular too.

Good suggestion.
Any news about Buangkok bus interchange?
Also, someone here said Compassvale bus interchange is temporary and will be closed down when Buangkok interchange opens. Can anyone confirm this?
Compassvale is meant for extra parking for Sengkang Int..
