I got a feeling Go Ahead will only use Citaros and B9TL Wrights.
the LTA video about red/green buses... SBS6502E featured the red colour bus at BNDEP right?
apparently, few days ago, i saw it on the roads & it doesnt have the red colour livery. back to SBST livery. hmmm
actually, I am starting to wonder, what if in the Bu Lim bus package, there is no Enviro500 buses? Instead, the only Double Decker buses are the Volvo B9TL Wright buses? since anyway, there is only a limited number of Enviro500 buses...
whereas for the Single Decker buses, its probably more MAN A22 buses than Citaro buses.... the number of MAN A22 buses in the West seems greater than the number of Citaro buses in the West.

if no E500s, then why SMRT buses deploy those to 106 & 189, the BSEP ones ?
anyway if E500s not involve, also good lah... at least can put to other SMRT service which in need of DDs. but, imagine wrights on 106? hmm
dunno leh, but i doubt E500s are out
I think the BCs will get tired of driving the same bus model every day after a year or so.

I believe the wrap was removed immediately after the shoot.

There are around 1075 Citaro buses on the roads. There are 699 registration numbers from SG1001D to SG1669A. I guess this means only Citaro buses funded by the government would be re-registered with the SG-prefix license plates. But then, apparently, there are around 742 Citaro buses funded by the government...Unless they have trimmed the last order (current order) of Citaro buses...

I guess the second digit indicates which package the Double Decker buses are deployed in. "0" is for Bulim bus depots (first package). "1" is for Loyang bus package (second package). "3" is probably for the fourth package.
I guess "2" is reserved for the third package, and it's probably not Volvo Wright buses...
Whichever bus service the "53XX" buses are deployed in is probably one of the bus services in the fourth package. The fourth package is likely in a SBS area of responsibility.

I am sorry. I wrote wrongly. I mixed up the numbers in the article "Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro" at private blog "Public Transport SG". I added 42, 450 and 250, which is wrong.
The number of Citaro buses funded by the government should be within 699, since only 699 registration numbers are reserved for Citaro buses.
I am sorry for the erroneous post. I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

They do not need to use the entire rego series...what's for so many Citaros on the roads?
Now all public buses,Depots etc will be under LTA.

If need be, all the rest of Volvo B9TL Wrights can go to SMRT already. It will still be SBS but painted SMRT colours. The SG-class can leave it to SBS Transit or Tower Transit to decide. This will replace Mercedes-Benz Hispano Citaro and Habit buses.
Loyang package should have Citaros, A22s and Wrights, since there will only be 67 Citaros for Loyang.
After when SBS Transit and SMRT Buses were reached to 17 years lifespan, and retured subsequently, will Singapore buses (SG registered) be like in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; where they do mass revamp to all routes by changing the new route number as of December 1, 2015. Will Singapore happen in the future?

It will very likely also have A22s, since it has only 67 Citaros (not confirmed by official sources).
As for the E500s, it is unlikely that there will be any.
