SG1016 going to spray booth at Lydep today..
Most probably SG5060 also tio spray...All SBST Livery torn off exposing the aluminium.
So TT took in 87 new wrights, 18 new A95 and 53 new citaros, total around 158 new buses.... does it really need so many buses?? unless some of the current SBST buses are not going over...
based on current fleet deployment, there are around 96 SBST citaros and 131 B9 to be transferred over..
158 + 131 + 96 + 75 (A22) + 19 (E500) = 479 buses..
does TT need so many buses????
Wah,like that only left 21 lots for SMRT?What about the 18 MAN A95s?Already on service for TT?Or is it for SMRT since TT kapo 19 E500s from them?

According to this newspaper report (in Chinese), they supposedly will start operations with 317 transferred buses and 50 new buses. I think the 50 new buses part is a bit low as compared to the amount of new buses registered to them.

The number of buses transferred from SMRT was 94. So I expect some buses to remain with SBS for the time being, which I think these buses will most likely be transferred to Go Ahead.
Some of the buses might even go to LYDEP directly.

Seems that only the LECIP EDS Wrights will be going over, or there will be overflow.
SBS3385X onwards should be for GAG.

Nope, if only the LECIP ones go over to Tower, then there will be a shortage as compared to the 317 shown in the news report. Furthermore, some of these buses in Jurong East have their logos stripped already, so these are very likely to go over to Tower.

yes... and from the newspaper yesterday, TT CEO was quoted saying that they are operating 26 services with 370 buses.....so guess some of the SBST buses will not go over instead.
doing the maths, around 100-110 SBST buses should be staying and guess they will use these buses to replace those retiring Vo3x instead...
SG5096-99 at Lydep.

SBS3378S, SBS6306E, SBS6314G, SBS6315D, SBS6356K, SBS6386Z have SBS Trsnsit logo removed.
Originally posted by azharjj:wah. so fast remove. SMRT didnt do it prior to handover to TT
Probably because SMRT only had 90 buses to handover during the weekend (the other 4 have been transferred almost a month earlier), SBS has more than 100 buses each for both of the weekends to handover. Also because SBS probably doesn't want to spare that much resources going to Bulim to do the handover works on handover dates as compared to SMRT.
