Has any of the new batch of MAN A95s in service yet?

The Enviros don't seem to be in good conditions now, I don't think its just SMRT's maintenance, but also that the Enviros may not be easy to maintain as compared to other types of buses, or may not be suited for year long hot, wet and humid conditions.

But RapidKL ones are much better..Heard from SMRT Technicians that the ADL buses cannot have too much restriction else the engine will not perform to its potential.

You see? Even the first few SG-plated A95s registered were not even spotted on training in the place (if I'm not wrong), let alone revenue service when all the services had already been handed over. It is not like they needed so many high capacity buses with the existing fleet.

The Rapid KL ones are Euro 3, and are newer. Euro 3 buses run at lower engine temperatures than higher emission standard ones, and typically do not have the kind of additional technology and systems that needs to be maintained or replaced.

I thought Euro 4 as mentioned by someone in facebook before?
Furthermore RapidKL ones doesnt have any restriction ley,Managed to board the bus while in KL and the driver frequently sped up to 80-90kmh on highways..Pick up also a bit better despite using Voith tranny.

No its Euro 3, Euro 4 and above would require Adblue.

No wonder so powerful..By the way any possibilities that LTA will instruct SBST to transfer some of their Euro V KUBs to GA?
