Do you think Loyang package will receive any MANs or ADLs?

Why not? Although I will not be surprised if in the future (2020s and beyond) LTA will assign only two bus types to each package (any combination of A22s/Citaros and ADLs/B9TLs).

I'm not surprised if Scania Citywide Double Decker will be introduced to Singapore in 2016.

if that day comes I will celebrate in style.
LTA can just transferred all SMRT E500s and Citaros to Go Ahead and replace with A95 instead.SMRT can order 2nd batch A24..Hahaha
Registered on 2 January 2016 (Mercedes-Benz Citaro):
SG1080A
SG1081Y
SG1082U
SG1083S
SG1084P
SG1085L
SG1086J
SG1087G
Not sure where are SG1011 to 1079, but then again Citaros have a history of skipping regos.

That depends if LTA is willing to buy up more non-BSEP E500 MMCs.

Maybe reserved for the SBST BSEP buses to be transferred over?

SG1011 to SG1079 is 69 buses. As per LTA's press release, they are buying 12 single-deckers, presumably from the non-BSEP batch.

Actually with 69 buses it might be from the 63xx batch rather.

Well the 11.4m 2 axles version already on service for BVG and the interior staircase configuration is superb especially for our country..I hope they consider 3 axles 12m version..with 320hp/1600nm engine option
Any de-registered Citaros yet?

LTA is in talk with SMRT to take over their buses as well... but whether they will take over E500 only or take in A95 as well, we will have to wait...my guess is that they will take in E500 only....

Why am I not surprised? LTA took on SBST's contracts for their B9TLs and Citaros. I would imagine that LTA would do the same for SMRT's A22s (not E500s though, no indication another order exists) but if it is not announced that LTA will also take over SMRT's contracts for A22s, we will know.

And since the news is out the LTA will be in charge of the purchasing of the buses... The registration plate number of the service would be as such.. Am I right?
So I guess we won't see the SBS 6894 Z onwards or those un-registered plate number like SBS 6282 P

That's unfortunate... B9s may be good but definitely arent the best buses around

not as bad as the E500s though?
B9TL is definately underpowered compared to E500 needless to say A95.I got a strong feeling LTA is deciding between E500 and A95 for SMRT.

everything is underpowered here, if you put it that way. B9TL over E500 just because the build quality is miles better.

Because there is no more contracts for A22 to take over. All the balance A22 are under BSEP. Straits time have report that Lta is talk with smrt
