The spare DDs are actually covering for service which had the most DDs also unless LTA order new batch of E500 again.
LTA should buy some MAN A22s and ADLs for Go-Ahead (and any other package with only SBST services). Otherwise, some BCs will be tired of driving the same buses again and again.Having more bus models can make driving buses a little more fun :)
Hardly anyone would join Go-ahead as a BC if they know they will be driving only 2 (or 1) bus model(s) every day they go to work.

I don't think BCs would want to drive different type of buses every day. It is better for them to drive the same type of bus as they would be more famliarised with the handling and the controls.

Wonder when the Loyang redeployments will start.
For Bulim, we were looking out for SMRT deployments involving WL/KJ and Bulim itself, and SBS deployments involving SLBP. For Loyang, who do we look out for?

Bulim almost settled already for SMRT side. 74 BSEP SD buses from WLDEP/KJDEP/AMDEP are trf to Bulim affected service. 21 DD also trf from WLDEP and KJDEP. Almost all settled already, unless got last minute changes.
SBS side for Bulim, all depots are affected. All the depots throw their BSEP Wright and Citaro over to Bulim service. Now left 66,143,183 to clear off their buses for the takeover.
Loyang will be BNDEP/CGBP/AMDEP/HGDEP side coz i dont think there is enough BSEP buses to replace all of them

Bulim also involves BBDEP.
For Loyang, it will be BNDEP/CGBP and HGDEP.
Post removed. Come back again sometimes.

Probably similar to sending a car to the scrapyard, the scrapyard will help you do the deregistration instead.

Loyang it will be Bndep/Cgbp,Hgdep and Amdep for 136.

It is still seen on TRG.. It also appeared on 970 yesterday..
No more buses transferred to TT for SMRT side?

Noted. Anyway the information comes from KJDEP mechanic first hand who insisted it has been scrapped. But I still find it strange that SMRT will send it to scrapyard without laying up the bus at all (except TIB614L which was somehow a mysterious case of being out of lay up without road tax before being scrapped).

according to who? bus drivers themselves or yourself?

That's just my guess. I'm not sure what proportion of the bus captains want some variety in the bus fleet.
