BNDEP taking in some duties for sv16. 6094R (CG 28) today, 6893B (BN SP) last saturday, 6183S two weeks ago (not sure if BB transfer or not).

This morning services along BKE towards PIE severely affected due to accident which blocked lane 2 and 3 just before the exit to PIE... according to the estimated arrival time board on the roads by LTA it would take service 590 69 mins throughout the eway sector.

SBS9810X Door Closing sounds similar to SMRT Volgren & UK Lance Bus Stopping sound.
Onboard 1325S 911 ard 21:19. Front bus 1499Z was late, departed ard 21:18.
Observations before first stop :
- DDU shows "2:40 Orange", BUT the bus was punctual and it "bunches".
Observations after first stop :
- DDU shows "5:10 Blue", BUT the bus was still punctual or slightly late by 1 min according to the schedule on DDU.
So is the DDU encouraging all the drivers to be late when the first one is already late? Shouldn't it be "pestering" the front bus to speed up while the 2nd bus to regulate it speed? LOL..

what i heard from my BC friends is that the DDU only tracks the distance between the bus and the previous bus... so it can be blue or orange even if its on time... it is not exactly following the timing as per stated even though it should...
you must understand that the concept of excess waiting time is parallel to schedule adherece. in other words, you can be 10 hours behind schedule but maintaining a consistent between buses is more important than schedule adherence.
just to make sure we are on the same page, under the contracting model, reliability and performance of most bus services is assessed using excess waiting time and NOT schedule adherence.

Window grill behind driver cabin have nails protruding out with the plastic piece half hanging...spotted this on Monday... today the bus broke down i glance in it is still left unrepaired... so dangerous...
SG5040P to date still issuing SMRT tickets instead of LTA tickets...
SMB3099G, SMB2E, SBS7587D and SMB8012Z all still issuing their own companies bus tickets as of today instead of the LTA ones...

I think its more of using up existing stocks ba.... if throw away = more cost induced overall and end up passengers may be made to pay for the extra cost

ya..quite a number of buses have this version of DDU le.. guess its the upgraded version..but not all services reflected also no point leh...
SMB1574P (307TQ01) nearly sideswiped TIB1026C (67) while 1574P was exiting 307 boarding berth, BC just drove out of the berth without giving way, lucky TIB1026C braked in time...
The distance between SMB1574P right side and TIB1026C left rear-view mirror is like damn close....
3667 on 76 with normal EDS details plus one sv76 DD desto on front windscreen area. Really long long time never see sv76 desto already
