I think "BIG ASS", is the name of a company? hahaha
SG5119Y EDS for 'SMRT' is off-centre, or rather, flushed to the left...

Makes sense because you have at least 50-60 pax waiting at that bus stop to take 856 to Seneko

nowadays, sv170X (and also 160/170 buses) are instructed to use old Woodlands Road (towards checkpoint) even when there are big jam there...
without any proper instructions from LTA, the BCs are NOT allowed to use woodlands ave 3/woodland centre road to get to checkpoint.
this is really a stupid move by LTA. this show that they simply just sit in the office without thinking of the real situation..
you can have up to 20 buses all stuck along old woodlands road and the passengers have to alight and walk all the way to the checkpoint...
this morning at 845am to 850 am, 4 sv72B buses waiting to turn out from YCK interchange traffic light to amk ave 6. there is one more bus at the boarding berth..
last time, the controller will only despatch buses when there is enough paxes in queue.
since BCM, seem like LTA have instructed that buses are not allowed to wait/layover for long time, so buses are just deploy almost immediately once they return from the earlier trip.. so some buses are only departing with few paxes.. another stupid move by LTA.
the first two buses got delay turning out because, there are few other buses infront (sv72/72A/13/162) and each traffic light, only 2 buses manage to turn left.... LTA should look into this traffic light timing issue, rather asking SBST to deploy empty buses...
Many buses return to Bulim Depot at 12pm.

Seems like LTA has too big pockets to fund so many empty buses and routes. Not sure this is sustainable.

Have. Seen SMB69M on 307A EDS before.. maybe is BC dun know the EDS code for 307A...
Today seems to have LTA audit check on 307 and 979...
I know at least 1x 307 student and 1x 979 old man kena fine for not tapping/tapping out early. The old man case he refused to cooperate with the LTA staff, saw the SMRT staff communicating with BOCC at bus stop (BS 45299)

seriously....stupid LTA...a lot of paxes asked the BCs, all the BCs reply it is LTA regulation. no instruction, no diversion, or else will have penalty..

this is taken on 16/JAN at around 525pm...buses got stuck there.cant even turn in

this is taken one min later.. see the paxes are alighting from the buses after it got stuck... the paxes walk back to Kranji MRT take the yellow CW buses instead.. so is the paxes paying the fares? no one dare to board the 170x buses at Kranji that day...
