Seems really some problem with the Enviro breaks... way too many DD accidents compared to the B9TLs and A95s.

Simple,Transfer all SMRT E500 to TT/GA and Seletar operator.
SMRT only take A22/A95/Citaro/B9TL.
Last night (080217) around 2210hrs, SMB1570A and SMB338L on 307 almost departed within 1 min interval...
When I boarded SMB338L, DDU was blue showing 7.50mins early even though its 2 mins behind schedule..
SMB338L overtook SMB1570A at Lot One bus stop and DDU instantly turned orange showing 9.00mins late, next bus 0 mins.
Later on, SMB1570A overtook SMB338L at Northville stop and DDU changed back to blue showing 7.40mins early, next bus 7 mins.
Under this situation how the BC should react? There is no way for both buses to attain green unless one of the buses (both already late) drive slow but next bus will catch up?

If both buses already behind schedule then they just carry on and drive I think, otherwise whichever is supposed to be the second bus is supposed to stop somewhere (say, stop AAA) and waste time until it reaches the time when the bus is supposed to reach stop AAA then it departs.
I was once on svc 165, boarded the bus at Hougang Central Int and heading towards Clementi, and the bus I was on caught up with the earlier bus at AMK (that bus left 10 mins before my bus at the Int). So at one of the stops along Upper Thomson Rd the bus I was on stopped for a full 2 mins before carrying on. For whatever reason the bus in front was driving real slow so caught up with the same bus at the Bukit Timah Rd junction again. Checked the DDU of the bus I was on, turns out it was right on schedule (don't know why the other bus is moving at snail pace)! But DDU show blue because of the slow bus in front ...
So I think even if DDU show blue, as long as the bus is on schedule/already late then it should be fine? Otherwise would cause cascading delays onto the subsequent buses ...

service leaders should try to make up for lost time wherever possible
but why are we penalising SLs for being early? and rewarding them for adhering to that even when it means screwing every single bus behind?

Have leh..ever seen the BOCC called BC to stop at a particular stop until DDU turn green from blue even though bus was behind time.. then the BC say pax onboard will not be happy waiting at a bus stop plus he already behind time..what if behind bus catch up? I believe the 165 case u mentioned something like this happened thats why front bus slow...

no leh..last time before BCM kicks in, still can see buses doing downroutes if too behind schedule...nowadays i keep seeing buses departing back to back even if they are already very late...

Hi mr sbs9256X, the two bus stops st edgedale plains end are served by 386.
At this moment, the interchange parking space is quite big. But take note not necessarily big in the future. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr sbs9256X, yes I know. Edgedale plains end is also covered by service 386 if you still don't know by now. It has already been more than several months that service 386 is routed inside edgedale plains end.
We have been discussing here that it is because 386 is routed into edgefield plains end (1st loop) then edgedale plains end (2nd loop). Then another loop around Punggol field/east/central (3rd loop). Thus it is unlikely to get 386 to go for another loop around Punggol east end (4th loop). Cheers. Thanks.
SMB3555G got its WeCare panel and sticker (at the standing area) removed..
